In the news today, I women in Ohio went to a Burlington coat factory and announced to the cashier that she had just won the lottery $1.5M and would pay for everyone's purchase up to $500 so folk started dialing numbers to spread the word and there were about 500 people in the store and another 1000 waiting to get into the store, long story short, the woman lied and was arrested. Here's full story at http://money.aol.com/article/lottery-hoax-causes-riot-at-ohio-coat/718322 --- can you say "5150" or maybe it's part of a reality show, you just never know. What was she thinking. P.s. She also rented a limo to the store that cost $900 for the day.

wow! thats crazy! clearly she has some mental issues, but i guess i am somewhat of a sceptic and find that there isnt much out there for free anymore. i would have had to see it before i would have believed it.

What is really sorry is the looting that happened afterwards by "sane" people. They had no right to do that, and I doubt most of them have all their mental facilities, if not their ethical ones.

She must have a mental problem to do that. Because there is no way you can go away with it and there is no advantage for her too. But the story tells that she was going to the bank to take the money and coming back to the store with empty hand. Why she doing that for? I think she had a mental problem and hallucinating that she won a lottery. It looks so real for her until she went to the bank and have nothing in her account.

I must say some people have way to much extra time on their hands. I saw this on the news and thought what a jerk. Too bad there wasn't a way to make her have to stick to her word and actually be forced to pay for those people orders like she said she was going to...boy wouldn't that teach her and all the others that may feel it necessary to lie. I didn't see about the limo part...did she pay for that or be force to...I think she should have to she used their services therefore she needs to pay.
