which countries are India's best friends?

Which country, do you think, is India's best friend? I don't think there is one for there seems nobody supporting it over a long period of time. US seems to be one on one hand but on the other hand it seems to be helping India's enemies.Russia too seems to be one but it too doesn't support India on many issues where India is reight.

Hey, friend, I don't think you can get the satisfied answer.
I just remembered a sayings, for a nation, it has no eternal friends, neither eternal enemies, only eternal nation interests. If the nations have the same interests, they will be friends, otherwise, they will be enemies.
I think friendship is something available only in personal aspect. It's never fit among nations. And if the two nations are neighbors and both of them are strong enough, it's almost impossible that they are in good relationship really. (Napoleon said it, I just forget the original words)
But here, I think it belongs to personal aspect, so we can make friends each other.

By "Best Friend", I meant the country which has supported India wherever India was right and wherever it needed urgent international help.

Hey multitasker.
Why are u forgetting about japan?
It is India's best friend since over a decades/
India has lots of supporters when it is right in any aspect.
for example recently mumbai attacks, when INDIA went on pakistan everybody supported India not pakistan.
This shows unity of India with other countries.

I think russia was always with india. and now as russia is not as powerful as it was b4 coldwar. but still i think russia is the best friend.
and other countries go ahead according to the policies of their own. i think India has now its importance and also importent part of US policies. but same for Pakistan.
