I was in the salon yesterday to have a hair straight and hot oil beacuse i want it to be that way! I really thought that they are expert when in it comes to hair since my friend and my cousin have been in that salon already and i have seen the result is good. But then, after they have my hair straight, I noticed that it is so dry to the point that i cant combed and to think that they already finish the hot oil treatment. i was so mad! Now im suffering with this hair and i dont want to cut it because its already short. All strands of my hair are brittled. I cant help myself crying with what they have done! my sisters, cousins and officemates are just hiding their laughter because of my experience...grrrrr..i dont know how long will this last.

Hi karbuks! That is terrible. I hate you had to experience that. I've had my hair messed up before so I know how you feel. Maybe you can just pull it back until it grows out enough to trim.

Hi JenInTN. yeah. i'm waiting for my hair again to grow so i can trim it. But you know, it will still take a little longer so i don't know how long will i suffer with this situation. I'm trying some conditioner just to somehow soften my hair to reduced my burden. Thanks.

Thank you for the suggestion. I think there is V05 here. I'll try it after i finish using the conditioner i bought. Anyways, for now my hair is at its best when wet because I can still combed it but when it dries up, i feel like hell.hehehe. Can't do anything about it even with conditioner. I'll just wait until it grows a little longer so i can trim it.

I don't know if you have it there but I can suggest maybe a couple of things to help. Nexus has a wonderful leavein conditioner that does wonders for hair. You just have to use a pea sized bit and it doeasn't leave your hair oily either. It's a little expensive but it lasts for a longtime. There is also VO5 hot oil treatments that you can do at home yourself once a week. They are not expensive at all.

I would go right back into the place that did this to your hair and tell them what is happening. Ask them if their is anything they can do or a product that will help restore your hair. This should not have happened to you. My hairdresser tests my hair and my daughters hair before adding any chemicals and if the hair is not strong enough she has us wait and let it grow a bit first. they should have done this for you first.

I hate to tell you but they already have proven themselves to NOT be like my hairdresser. My hairdresser refused to color my daughters hair on a couple of occasions because her hair was too damaged and too processed. She told suggested some conditioning treatments and told her to wait a month or so. She also has an eye for what will and will not look good on a person. When my daughter wanted to go from blonde to very dark...she turned her down...thankfully. She prides herself in making sure that everyone that walks away from her salon looks good. Since my daughter really wanted to go darker, she suggested a medium auburn and it looked fantastic and was a great compromise. I hope your hairdresser has the integrity to help make this right for you. doesn't sound it tho. She should give you the conditioner for free. Print out this thread and bring it in to her. If she doesn't....word of mouth is everything....warn everyone and everyone about that place!

I just hope they are like your hairdresser but it seems like they only want money from their customer. They did not even do their best service. I thought they will give a conditioner which is their product for free but they will also le me pay for it, but i did not buy it.

That is how a professional hairdresser should act. She knows what is good for your hair and even suggest what is best. You're right, my best friend's cousin and her friends planned to go to that salon for hair rebond, but then i discouraged them. They saw what happened to my hair. Good thing I warned them early because there are 5 of them who plan to go there. I told them to better avoid that place than be a victim. GodBless!

I am sorry to hear that. What happened to you is irreversible so the least thing you can do is have your payment refunded. you may also ask them for free treatments until your hair gets back to normal or at least close to it. Some people might tell you that it's the price of wanting more than what you already have but the blame should not be directed to you since it is the people in the salon who messed up. they have duties/tasks to perform and they obviously weren't successful at it. They promised to do their job so the results should be as promised. they should really pay for what happened to you.

I actually ask them if i can have my money back but they refuse to give it. They just told me that my hair will be back to normal in two weeks time. They ask me to buy the conditioner which is their product because it can help to soften my hair but i did not go for it because i was so mad at that time. i wanted to talk to the manager but no one will even entertain my complaints. i just hope they will not get another victim.

That's sad to know. You are the victim and yet you still have to do everything to bring yourself back. What's worse is that to be able to fix your hair, you need to spend again and buy stuff from them as if it was not their fault. They are still making money even after ruining you.

Yeah! i'm gonna save for money again and spend it to just restore my hair back. But i will not go buy their products. I will have to go to other salon that is better than them. Next time, i'll make it sure that they can't ruin my hair again. Thanks and Godbless!

I just hope that you didn't pay for the services if you felt that you hair was not properly done.

too bad! i have paid it already since they force me for payment. The second time i go back to that salon i did bring my uncle with me but same response we receive. I do believe in karma, i just want to somehow teach them a lesson and spread some badnews about that salon so others will know.
