my parents loves music and i grew up listening with their choice of music so i'm kind of loving ABBA songs and the likes. but i've got this song that i've asked my friends if they've heard of and found out they don't!
the lyrics goes like this:
two lovely flowers
one is red, the other's white
wondering what the others will say
should i pick one to stay...

Hi! I know many old songs. Even if I don't know all the tunes, I've learned to love the golden oldies. Some songs I know include, "Three Coins In A Fountain, Moon River, Puppy Love, Changing Partners, How Much Is That Doggie In the Window?, The Last Waltz, Crazy, Hurt, Green, Green Grass of Home, Love Is a Many Splendored Thing, Impossible Dream, Quando, Quando." I can share a short lien of Three Coins Ina Fountain, which goes, "Three Coins In A Fountain. Each one seeking happiness. Three hopeful lovers. Which one will the fountain bless?"

i'm not quite familiar with three coins in a fountain...hmmnnn i'm gonna look for that, thanks gingergale! the rest i'm familiar with i love Moon River from Audrey Hepburn's movie Breakfast at Tiffany's, am i right?

The first song that came to my mind after reading your discussion is the "Lord's Prayer" also known as "Our Father". The song may come later, but the lyrics is I think the oldest I know off.

wow I can't even really answer that question LOL..I am a major music lover and enjoy music from several different eras going back to the 20's and such..so to figure out which is the oldest song I know would be pretty hard..
