Sony, Nikon, Canon? (DSLR) which is which?

i'm planning to buy a dslr. but know which is the best and worth every penny.. that i dont need to upgrade from time to time but it costs too much. but im still saving for it. kinda expensive type of cam..

although i don't have any DSLR cam, i would prefer nikon because it's user friendly according to my friends. sony is of high quality but it's too expensive. i have a Canon video cam while i have an Olympus digicam. i'm planning to buy a Nikon DSLR soon because it's a requirement in my course... :D
