what is orkut

orkut is a community sort of thing to be in touch with friends

Orkut is a platform like yahoo 360. We can make friends there and share our thoughts with them. There are some features of fun and entertainment there also.

orkut, is a website which is far more better than mylot in term sof communication, but mylot pays, so what the ehck

i know... i use this... this is a great sistem to know about person... u receive a email.. ok... u create ur personal account... whith pic.. and interest, etc... u found a old friends.. meet new people;;; and talk to him/her... find and create communits abou u like.. u enter on other communits too... ... is a great system... but a lot of people use this to do whrong stufs... here, in Brasil... we ´ve some laws against it ( not orkut, whrong comunits)... is something like myspace (band/singer/msk group) and orkut.. is a personal space...

this orkut has extended features like u can find any ppl, their friends, friends's friends...its like open university with all sorts of communities as like yahoo chat room.for yahoo chat, u need to install or download yahoo msngr software, which at times gonna irritate u as well as the sys operns too.but orkut is entirely a browser content... in orkut u ca search ur friend listed on orkut, its not chating but more like mail ti each other , in orkut u can get personal detail about ur friend, a good site to search ur love one , my suggestion is u should join orkut.

In orkut u can send scrap & in mylot u can respond to any topic u want. In mylot ur getting paid in $$$$ but in orkut ur not getting any pay.....

I think its basically a discussion forum. A site where you can talk and make new friends. I havent tried it out though.
