Thus length of posting better than the frequency of posting? do most of us earns more on the former or the latter? what do you think?

I am learning so much from several discussions about earning in mylot and how to increase one's earnings. We earn from our own discussions if we respond to those who made their comments and posts and if we respond to other's posts and discussions. What makes you earn more is the quality of your posts and responses taking into considerations the rules of being descriptive with your response.
Enjoy the weekend with mylot!

Hi mhayfie
Well it is a little different out here, i mean it is a little different than blogging, here the length or rather the quality of posts matter, long and nice posts anyone would admire here, hmm well yeah but if you respond to more discussions and nice long ones then it would be much better, that way you will earn a lot and also socialize more, quality posts certainly will get your ratings high, well i am not very regular here at mylot but i come here whenever i get time to, and i would say if you could respond to each discussion with a minimum of 5 to 6 lines then it should work out best for you, and also you could respond to many other discussions, their are some discussions where i had posted some long paragraphs, those were pretty interesting discussions and so i had to write some real big ones and to me it feels nice... it depends on you... i would say respond to as many discussions as you can and with a minimum of 5 lines, if you could put more then better
have a nice day mhayfie!

it all depends on how you can maintain the post you will make. to maintain it is to response back or comment in all the responses you will receive in every discussions you will have. response back to each and every response with uniqueness, not repeating the comment you will give to others. that will keep your discussion alive and you will earn more by doing that and you will see it for yourself.
it's not the length or how frequently you will post a new discussion but the quality is important.

I tend to write in length anyway . . . so that's what I do here on myLot! I haven't figured out which is "better" per say in terms of earnings, but I don't care. I just want to make sure I write all that I'm thinking (that's what a discussion is about, right?) and with my brain and typing fingers working together, I usually write too much - hee hee. I think it's both the quality and frequency together that make it worth your while here on myLot.

Both the length of the posting and the frequency of posting are important if you want to gain a high reputation.
However, when it comes to earning, from where I stand, high-quality concents are the most important factor if you want to earn more extra money here. Of course, there are some complex ranking algorithm that have relateness with your earnings. If you have no idea about the quality of posts, the length of the posting is a main factor to decide your money at last.
Make sure be active, post high-quality discussions, keep in touch with others are useful to your earnings obviously.

Both frequency and the length should be taken in account. because here you'll do more works like doing tasks, uploading photos and of course starting discussions. Consider about the discussions. Its only to make your idea or ask your question to other mylotters to respond to your discussion or to reply to others. So finally the above sentence will clearly explain the pure purpose of discussions. So lengthy post may convey the whole idea to the others. Likewise the frequency is important to give a flow of reading to others. I know you get the point. so basically the frequency and the lenght plays a major role in myLot. Keep myLotting.. Cheers..!!

A mixture of both. You need quality as well as quantity, which are discussions started, answered and commented. Quality means giving an answer that caters to the discussion, never-minding the length. If you have said your point, you may even stop at just 1 line..and if you aren't, to continue typing for a few lines. Hope this helps..

Both actually. If you post frequently, you earned from that (well not unless someone will respond to that post). If you respond with a lengthy answer, you get some cents out of that too. As long as you’re participating, you get something out of it here. ;)

You get paid for each post that you make and the better the quality that it is the better off you will be.
When you start a discussion,or are just responding to one. put as much description in it as you can. and try to stay away from the one liners.

It's all of those things combined.
See.. you want to post discussions that are lengthy and descriptive. If you post one liners you will not get paid as much. But you also get paid for each post, so the more well thought out, lengthy posts that you make, the more money you'll earn.
I hope this helps!

There must be QUALITY in your quantity. Well thought out posts will go far here. It's not always necessary to stay away from one liners, because sometimes, when everyone else has already said it, that's all you need is one line to confirm and support this. I'm not saying do this all the time, but it is important to people to try to know something different that what is already posted. People want to know they have options.

Blogging and Mylotting got something in common and that is the saying "Content is King". It's always the quality of every post that counts. Posting quality contents frequently will earn you a lot here in mylot

From the faq section,it states that the quality of post is more important than the length of post.I agree with that because sometime short response like one sentence will not be credit but long and quality post will be credit at least 1 cent! If i am starting a new discussion, adding an image to it also boost the income! Happy mylotting.
