I have exceeded the usage limit and I have been fined

I am using Reliance Netconnect for Internet Connection in my house and I was using 1 GB plan, which allowed me to do a data transfer of 1 GB per month. But, mistakenly it has been overused and I have been fined at the rate of Rs. 2 per MB. My monthly bill used to be of Rs 800, but this time, it is Rs 3200. I recieved a message today to either pay it before 23/10/2009, or the connection would be cut. I fear that my father would scold me if say him this. At present, I am short of funds and I have still not recieved my payment for teaching some younger students, for this month. I don't know how to manage. Please help me out?

I think there is no way. and you must go for the 500c plan if there is access of use. i got that you are using the BSNL plan and will recomend to go for that plan.
one more thing that in that plan you ll get the 1.5 gb of data usage and night unlimited.
there will be exemption in rental of phone and you will get 175 calls for free.

It is allright to migrate to some other plan, but what must I do at present? the connection would be cut after 23rd.

He is right .The best internet plan for people in india Bsnl 500c .That doesn't mean that you can use internet carefree .I have myself crossed the limit a few times .So my advise check your usage once in three days. Do not download software ,movies or anything of size bigger than 5MB at day time .As Anurag said unlimited download is available in this plan.So you can download this at night time(2PM-8AM).Limit your usage to max.40 MB for this plan .Its enough for browsing 4 Hours.Most important thing is be sure to pause the incompleted downloads at day time .Its possible that pending files to download get downloaded while browsing at day time and we hardly notice .It happened to me a few times at the starting.
For now ,You have to tell your dad about this as soon as possible .Try to find a some money and cover most of it .Ask your father the rest .Its O.K....;&
