I was just thinking that I can't remember the first time I was told off, or rather that I can but that I must of been about 7 or something! Can other people remember the first time they were told off?
If so what age were you? And what was it for?
Incase you are all wondering I think mine was getting told off for running away in a department store and losing my parents:( Lol

As a particularly well-behaved little 6 year old I remember the teacher yelling my full name across the classroom & screaming "How dare you?? How jolly DARE you!?!?!?" ... I had no idea what sin I'd committed but, apparently "You do NOT stand school books up on end." I said I didnt want the girl next to me copying my answers; the teacher asked why she would do that & I replied "I don't know but she always does". I still don't stand books on end.....

Haha I actually laughed reading this, I think you were pretty brave to respond to the teacher:( I would have just gone bright red and silent.
And the screaming tactic worked then since you still don't do it. I saw one of my friends writing out a birthday card and they still write with their free hand cupped near the pen so you can't see what they are writing. I nearly wet myself laughing and asked if they thought I was going to copy them:P

Hi Jaxsky,
Not sure if it was the first time but I sure remember it. I was a child my age probably 6 or 7. I had put a whole pack of chewing gum in my mouth. As you can imagine not a pretty sight! LOL While I was chomping away ths man I didn't know told me to chew with my mouth closed. I was so embarrassed because I then realized I couldnt close my mouth because of all the gum!!

Haha that's excellent, I can't believe a random man told you off! That's not very nice, must of been a grumpy old man to walk around telling young kids off!
You jaw must of been aching for a month afterwards!
How strange that you remember that time! It doesn't sound very nice that's for sure! Thank you for sharing:)

I remember a man in the street telling me off for jumping in the puddles - but c'mon! I had my new yellow wellies on!.... I was 24 at the time. I've just bought some spotty ones so I'm waiting for the opportunity to go puddle jumping again & see if anyone dares tell me off for it now
