how do they decide what tasks to accept and which tasks to deny

I have done a couple of Sharon Bucks tasks and thought I did a great job. There are other tasks I BSed my way through. They accepted my work that I didn't think was so good and sent back some really good pieces. Does anyone know how they choose which pieces to keep, and which ones to get rid of? I find it a little odd that I am having my better pieces rejected.

I'm not sure why they can be so fussy when they are offering so little compensation. An article writer earns more than $1.

Are you asking if they will refuse you for writing more than the 2-3 lines per paragraph or for writing too many tasks in total? Either way, I'd say the answer is no. Most of the time my paragraphs are a little more than the 2-3 lines because I find it hard to convey decent factual information in only two lines... but I do find I can do it in three, more often than not. I think that instruction is meant to be taken more from the perspective that a "paragraph" can't just be a single line. Guidelines for tasks say you cannot have more than 10 tasks in your "in progress" area at one time. Hope that helps! :)

Sharon bucks' tasks are usually worth 4$. Although she has had cheaper tasks out there!

Will they refuse your tasks for writing too much?

Hi caecal07! :) I can't presume to know the true answer to your question but I can offer an opinion. Recently, in the instructions, a line was added that gives the "specific message" that the piece has to convey. That was not included when the tasks were originally offered and, I assume because people were posting constantly that they "didn't know what they were supposed to write about," the instructions were defined a little more strictly. If the specific message is not covered thoroughly in the work, I assume that would be one reason for a rejection. Also, making the content too similar to any other material, copying/pasting or plagiarizing is a guaranteed rejection. The keywords that are provided must be included - not all of them but as many as possible within the context of the writing (I find its easy to forget them when I really get going on some subject matter, so I always have to go back and double-check that I've got them in there LOL). Overall, the piece must be factual and informative, never written in the first person and spelling and grammar checked. Those are the only things I can think of... and good luck to you with your submissions!

Oh, you're most welcome :) As I said, I can only offer an opinion but it's what came to mind. I'm sorry you have a rejection for which you're unsure of the reason :( but! on the positive side, you had eight approvals? That's excellent! Congratulations to you It feels good to see them added to your earnings, doesn't it?

I understand that... What is the new line... I have only been part of mylot for a little bit. My first two submissions were primarily a joke... I actually looked up a bit of stuff and came out with them getting sent back... I didn't know if it was ramdom on top of everything else.

The new line is the one which reads: "The content should pertain to the following description and help convey this specific message:" If you make sure to follow what is asked there, as well as using as many of the keywords as you can, you'll have a great shot at being approved. Also, I forgot to mention earlier -- don't modify the keywords when you do use them. They have to be used as they're provided. You can actually make some pretty decent money with the tasks once you get going on them. It forms the bulk of what I've made here in the past several months :)

I really like her tasks and i have also found out that if we follow all her instructions, we will get our tasks approved by all means. My only problems is accepting so many tasks , no more than 10 though and not finishing all in the allotted time specified as I have a day job too. So I ended up forfeiting almost half of them back again. So bad, otherwise i have more than 80% of my sharon bucks tasks approved so far.

I usually just accept what I can do at the moment then go back for another one if I get the chance...

I am not sure about their standard of choices, I was bummed too because all of my submissions yesterday were rejected. And it was such a hit to my ego because I was pretty confident about the quality of my submissions. I just signed up for a couple more tasks and I wish this time, it will get approval because it fires me up all the more to prove to them that my articles are good enough for their standard.

I agree with the things thinkingoutloud said. My last task was returned because I failed to include a keyword which was on the list. Sharon Bucks only asked for at least one key word to be included. I also tend to forget all these writing guidelines because my head is spinning from all the reading and researching I did. Luckily, tasks which were returned needed minor revisions. Eventually, they were approved. To my mind, for as long as one follows her instructions, there is no doubt that the will approve the submission.

If she has rejected your submissions outright, then you cannot resubmit. But if she returned them for minor corrections or further elaboration (whichever is the case), then you can resubmit the same article with her comments incorporated. Definitely, you cannot resubmit the same article which has been rejected already. Am I confusing you? Hope this helps.

Thanks, That was really helpful... I understood perfectly. So if they were rejected than I cannot resubmit them but if they were returned I can revise and resubmit.

So I can resubmit the same piece again? Only fix it. That isn't against the rules? I would think that would just be too easy? Do I have to wait until it comes up again as a task? Anything else I should know?

And the rest of us are discussing the reasons for not approving the tasks...

Hi caecal... I do a lot of her tasks, and I mean a LOT. I had had the same thing happen at first, where my tasks would simply be rejected or returned. Of the ones that were rejected, I was pretty proud about some of those writing pieces, so I was pretty disappointed. What I have been doing lately, is keeping the task page open that describes everything that is needed including what to write about, and keywords to use, so I don't forget about it. Any other research or online work I do in a seperate window so I always have access to the basic information I need to complete the article. It seems trivial, but the guidelines are pretty strict. Keep your head up and hope this helps! Dive Deep!

Sharon bucks are very tough tasks CAECAL. She checks every grammatical mistakes. If any thing goes wrong she simply rejects them. I think another reason is she picks the best along all the submitted tasks we did
