HI Everyone!!!! Lately my Boyfriends has been starting to snore! It is so unbearable that I can't seem to sleep anymore. I try waking him for him to go on his side and he only stops snoring for a few minutes! This has been going on for about two months now... How many of you have a partner that snores? How do you deal with it? Do yourself snore?

I think I snore sometimes. Snoring can be brought about by stress. Your boyfriend maybe too tired of something. Tired from work maybe. Or it could be a problem in his respiratory system. Try to convince him to visit a doctor. Just to be sure that there's nothing wrong. Anyway I can understand you. My brother do snore sometimes and it's really irritating. :) I just cover my ears til I put myself to sleep. :) shadow41

Hi Shadow! Well thanks for your concern.. But my boyfriend is so stubborn when it comes to him going to the doctors... He is just like a little kid, in order for him to go you have brib him with something.. hahahaha... I think I am going to try those nose strips, I seen a commercial on it.. It helps prevent snoring!

Ehehe. Well I can understand him. I myself won't go and see the doctors if I'm not feeling well. I just find some ways to cure myself. Haha. But be warned. My uncle used to snore so loud so my aunt tried her best to convince his husband to see the doctor. After a series of test they found out that there's a little mass bulging in his larynx. Doctor's said that it could have become worse if not treated immediately. :) shadow41

My boyfriends doesn't snore but he does breathe LOUD!! If he falls asleep before me I'm screwed lol I'll never get to sleep!! I try to nudge him a little bit and sometimes it helps, I have noticed that he isn't as loud if he is sleeping on his back, no clue why!! Sometimes I'll go lay down on the couch and watch some TV, or fall asleep lol but he hates it when I sleep on the couch so I try to go back in the bed later and hope he isn't as loud!!

Hey Sweetie! Well I do the same! I too, try to go to the couch and watch some television so I can get a little sleepy, but it doesn't work... I sometimes think, he should sleep on the couch! lol... But its ok, I am learning to go to bed first, I have done a few days... Once I am out, I don't get up unless its my little one!

I make sure my boyfriend sleeps on his side when he starts snoring and that stops it. If we are in bed and his snoring wakes me up, I soon wake him up and tell him to get on his side. Try that and see if it helps

Maybe you should take him to the doctors, they may be able to give him something

My boyfriend snores, I find the best way to stop him is to adjust his airways, sometimes by moving the pillows or by getting him to tilt his head back a bit more - tickling under the chin normally achieves this! Good luck

Hi magickat! Under his chin? Really? I am going to try this, I just hope he doesn't wake up and think that I am in the mood, when all I want is a good nights sleep... Hahahahah! Thanks for responding! I will try!

the best way is to turn him rather than asking him to sleep on his back.. it would be better if he sleeps on his arms by taking a left or a right turn.. that's a better way to avoid snores..

Hi Love! Yes I have tried and it sometimes works! I am thinking about buying him those nose strips for people who snore! You think that might help too?

Hello! Snoring is a natural phenomenon. It can be checked to some extent if you sleep in one side instead of sleeping on your back.In this way I have been benefited.thanx.

Hi bbsr! Well I have tried telling him or even moving him.. but he always seems to go on his back on again! I know that he doesn't mean too. But he somehow does! What a dilemma!!

hi,prikayjo, I deeply understand your feeling, but he is your boyfriend, you can not leave him, right, maybe your boyfriend has been tired recently, so he starts to snore, if this, he needs much rest, then it will be better. Do not care for it, for he is your boyfriend.

Hi Blue! Well I love my boyfriend.. That is why I haven't told him that it bothers me... Because I know that he will either fell bad or take it the wrong way.. So I am trying to politely tell him that he is starting to snore. I don't like hurting anyone's feelings! Thanks for responding!

Well warn him then about this, if he is unaware of what nuisance he is making.Really i hate snoring people the thing that they sleep well thus waking others.I think you better advice him to go and meet a doctor or you tell him to sleep on other place.thankfully am sure that i dont snore, if i were to do that then am bound to move away from public than disturbing people who sleeps.anyway you have to go tell him about this even though he dont mean to..

Hi Fireheart! Well I am going to tell him, Soon.. I just don't want him to feel bad that he is keeping me up at night... I think that he might need to see a doc to.. Because the snoring is really bad! Super loud... That when my two year old wakes up before he does, she is sometimes scared of the noise that he is making! lol.. Thanks for responding!
