What is the weather like in your home town?

Our weather here is rainy and cold here today...it has been like this for almost the whole summer, I kid you not. This summer was terrible weather wise, the summer nights were chilly like it was fall weather and the days were pretty much all rainy. You couldn't make any real plans because even if you woke up and the sun was shining give it a few hours and it would be pouring down rain and so dark out.
I really feel like we all go very ripped off this summer because there was no real chance to enjoy it and now here it is October 15th and they are calling for snow tonight. We had a light covering about three days ago but none of it was able to stick and now today my thermometer says it is 37 degrees and it has been raining all day. So what has the weather been like where you live? Has there been more of a change of past weather or is about the same and do you like it?

We are having one of those weird 'oh well, lets just skip a season' things here! One minute we had the air conditioning on and were walking around in shorts and then suddenly yesterday it was two degrees above freezing!
I am in New England so hopefully we will manage a bit more 'fall' here before the snow kicks in (in a really fun year it can snow til about April here!) We are famous for our groovy autumn colors of the trees out here, after all - wouldn't want all those tourists who booked to come over to Vermont or New Hampshire to miss out on our glorious colors!

I am in Pennsylvania and we have about the same type of weather you do..it starts to snow here about the end of October and can go as late as the middle of April. SO far we are in the middle of November and have only had about an inch of snow a few weeks back but it didn't stick and was gone a few hours later. I have lived here my whole life with the exception of a few years and although I am not a fan of the snow I know that I could also not live in a place where it is hot all year like Florida or California...Thanks for your response

Hi froggieslover, well the weather here today in what is supposed to be a lovely hot month is cold, windy and raining torrentially all day. No ideea of the tempreature but it's not normal to dig boots and socks out quite so early.
The tourists are still out here so will be most displeased that they've beem rained off the beach, all I want is some autumn weather, the shift from humidity to cold is much too sudden.

Woa, it's different in my home town. The weather is quite hot and sunny. Sometimes i just don't want to go out at all, because it's so hot.. Felt good if you went to beach though, there's a windy breeze... There has not even rain for 5 days now, and it's should be already a raining season..

Hi, froggieslover! The weather where I am at is very cool. It rained for two days straight. It was light rain nothing that was very heavy. I tell you one thing, the weather does not feel like winter at all. It is not all that cold here. I am hoping that by the end of December, the weather will pick up to a much more cooler temperature. Our weekly temperature has been in the 65s all week long. As you can see, the weather here is not all that bad. I just can't wait until it gets colder, and when it stays that way.

It was raining all day here as well but still warmer than normal, it was in between 55 and 60 here all week as well. I love this type of weather I just know it isn't going to last and I am hoping that because it has been so nice for so long that when it does finally come its going to come on harder than usually. I different than you though i can wait for the cold and snow to come. thanks for your response cream

It's almost 11 a.m. right now where I live. Right now, it's pretty foggy outside and has been all morning. It rained a little this morning and unfortunately rainy and stormy is all it's been mainly for the past few weeks. Actually, I've noticed it has rained a lot more this year I remember it ever have been before. Though that might be just me. But I have had heard people say the same basic thing though. It has seemed like this year it's rained more than it's been sunny where I live.
It sure has made me appreciate sunny weather a lot more, that's for sure.

LOL same here Darth Justice...a lot of us have been saying the same thing about the rain. We don't ever remember there being this much rain in our lives. It was terrible in the way that you couldn't enjoy your summer because any time you tried it would rain. It would either be nice in the early part and you would think lets do something and then in the next hour it would be cloudy and raining or it would rain in the early part and the night would be nice but still not too awful hot/warm. I really missed being able to take evening walks with the family because it was so yucky. I keep/kept telling my kids to get outside because we didn't know how long it would last.

It is humid, and I have my air conditioning on. I am in florida. It has been rainy, but still the river here seems too low. I am glad it is warm at this time of year, I don't do well with the cold.

It's supposed to warm up here in the next couple of days, but then it is going to get cold again here.
We had one record breaking summer this year for cold weather. I guess it must of been that way in most of the United States.
I am looking forward to it warming up to 68 degrees tomorrow. We definitely could use the warm weather to get some things finished up outside before the snow starts to fly.
We did get snow one day last week, but it didn't stick, actually it was just flurries here. A couple of counties over they did get a light dusting on their cars. I can't wait for Spring! LOL

It was a terrible cold summer here as well and very rainy. You could hardly make any plans because you just never know how the weather was going to turn out, it would either be nice in the early part and then rain by the afternoon or vice versa either way if you made plans for that summer day you were most likely going to be rained on at some point throughout your day...it is suppose to be in the mid 60's as here as well tomorrow as it has been the past week and a half or so but I see by about the end of this week it is going to start dropping down again and mean old man winter is going to be rearing his head in here soon. Thanks for your response kykidd

Here it is cold, but sunny. We had a major storm system move through the other day but it has been at least sunny since! There is frost every morning but warms up a but during the day.

We are expecting another storm tommorow. After storms "Ondoy" and "Pepeng ravage Luzon everyone is getting ready and evacuating in highlands. Somehow it is an easy feeling for every Filipino.

I am sorry that you have been having so many storms. I hope everyone is alright and that the storms your way cease. I live far inland so we don't much of the storms like you are talking about the most we get is a tornado but even then there has been one that has touched down since the 1980's because we are so low done in the valley. I will keep you in my thoughts and thanks for your response hwoaragpoy

In my hometown, we just had our first snow last night. It was a pretty slushy snow mixed with rain, but it was still cold! This morning there was no snow on the ground though. Only automobiles and porches caught the accumulation. I know that this snow won't last, but it's sure sign of the season's change. This weekend is supposed to be rainy, chilly, mixing with a little wet snow at times. Then next week we can look forward to a few warmer days though. Guess we'll have to wait to enjoy those!

We had snow a few weeks back but it wasn't that much and it melted off by morning. They are saying that we are suppose to get snow tomorrow evening but i don't think it will accumulate and stick or at least I am hoping not because we have to travel for Thanksgiving and even though it isn't that far I don't want to travel out of my driveway when it snows if I don't have to LOL Thanks for your response sender

Hello i'm adhi from Indonesia. I feel the same what you feel. Today is really host. I think global warming take part of this phenomena. What we have to do is to decrease the green house effect. Yesterday i also found an interesting article which state: The North Pole ice will be melt in 20 years toward...waow..it's scary ..

Well, we are having an Indian Fall here, as just the other day we were in the high 30s in the morning, and maybe 50 for highs, and needing the Heat on in our house, and now it is in the 60s and supposed to stay this way thru the weekend. It is Nice but it is not helping with so many people around me being sick all of the time. All I can say is sounds like I am Glad we have the weather here instead of yours for sure.

My home town Calcutta is experiencing a change of season from monsoon to winter. As it is winter is never very severe here, its mostly summer country but monsoon is strong and we are having alternate periods of bright clear blue sky with strong sun and intermittent rain which is spoiling all the fun of the lovely weather. It will last another week or so and then we’ll have lovely weather, ideal for going out and enjoying the day!

I have read a few different people saying that they have major storm type weather with the monsoons and such and again I am sorry that you have to deal with such type weather, I live inland in a valley and we don't get much severe weather other than our major snow. It is coming into our winter season here and although the past few weeks have been beautiful for this time of year here within the next week we will be having our snow and it will last for nine months and I am not at all ready...Thanks for your response sudiptacallingu

A lot of people having been saying that their summers have been hot I wish I could say the same about our summer, our summer was cold and wet..it didn't give us much of a chance to do much of anything unless you wanted to get soaked. We are hoping that the winter is mild to make up for such a terrible summer. Thanks for your response msedge

Hi froggie,
We are residing abroad and winter is fast approaching here. It's been hell over here for the past few months, summer heat is terrible plus the humid air irritates us when going out of the house evening time. As winter comes in November, we are looking forward to going out and spending our weekends and holidays in parks with friends and family. Good Day!

I wish our summers were hot enough that we were able to complain. The summer back here felt like fall and there were a few times where I could almost promise it might snow in a few days LOL Now here fall it has been nice enough to where we can still get out, the weather has been about mid 60's or so but it is going to be over here soon because I know the snow will be falling soon Thanks for your response

This is how it has been here all summer, you think oh yes it is going to be a good day then you go out and try to make plans and end up coming back soaked to the bone. This fall the weather has been treating us pretty decent with a bit of warmer weather but I know it is going to be short lived and here soon we will be dealing with about 9 months of snow. Thanks for your response bryanr
