I have been a Twitter member for about a couple of months now. I enjoy reading tidbits of people's lives. As such, I follow the tweets of several well-known personalities to get updated on what they do.
These celebrities include Josh Groban, Sharon Corr, Bono, Jim Chappell, Oprah, Gov. Arnold Schwarzennegger and several well-known people here in my country.
How about you? Please share which other celebs have interesting tweets.

I got a twitter account and I think I follow a few celebrities. I havent logged into that site for many months so I cant really remember who I follwed. But I think I got Obama/white house, and probably a few actors/actresses. I think I also follow Lance Armstrong, Roger Federrer and a couple of cricket players. I dont really find twitter interesting, I dont have many known friends there so its just a waste of time knowing reading what celebrities are doing every minute.

I also think it's a waste of time following people on Twitter who have nothing interesting to say. I, however, am following several people with sensible views about my country so I also get updated through them of important issues that I appreciate knowing more about.
I understand how you feel about the site. I also have friends who don't log in there very often. I think you may have had similar experiences.
To each his own, anyway. Cheers!

Hi writermom!
I am also a member of Twitter and I love reading tweets from my favorite celebrities. It is a nice place to know some of my favorite star's activities. I added Oprah too, I also added Kim Kardashian and her siblings, I also have Britney, Lindsay Lohan, Rob Thomas and Ashton Kutcher. I even have some local celebrities on my tweeter... Whats nice about it is that you have a chance to communicate with your favorite stars and they may reply on you're "@tweets" if they like to. I have a huge crush on Chris Cole, a Fil-Am singer that lives in the States who is becoming popular now on youtube ..I never thought he would reply on my tweet. it made my day.. (I'm sorry I'm a desperate fan of him) Haha.. Its a cool site anyway.

Hahaha, I know the feeling of having a celebrity reply to your tweet! It was a heady feeling :)
Hmmm, you're the nth person to tell me you are following Ashton Kutcher. He may be someone really worth following. I'll go check and see. Thanks!

I don't even have twitter, although every once in a while I will find a link to someone's twitter.
For example, I followed one today that spoofed the balloon craziness that happened in Colorado today.

It took me several months of receiving invites to sign up at Twitter before I did. I also didn't know what the heck it was all about :p
But after hearing a lot of things about it from close friends, I gave it a try and, so far, I have found it okay. But I still visit Facebook more often than Twitter.
Thanks for the response!

I've been tweeting for more than a month already and so far I haven't followed any celebrity, well except maybe for Shibani Joshi (Fox Business Network Correspondent).
I follow twitter members who has topics that interests me.
Twitter is a nics start to have some sort of networking also.

I agree, Twitter can help with networking, especially for those who have businesses, interests and advocacies they want people to know more about.
Same here, I also follow Twitter members who post interesting topics instead of inane messages and worthless commentaries.
Thanks for sharing your Twitter experience!

I follow Ashton Kutcher, but it seems that so does almost everyone else. Rainn Wilson (Dwight from the Office) is pretty funny and interesting. Michael Ian Black is very random and sometimes gross. Nia Vardalos is funny and interesting and seems very sweet.

Thanks for sharing. I only know Ashton Kutcher from among the names you mentioned though. I'll check out his Twitter page and see if I'd also enjoy following him :)
