Hello everyone... I have been reading a lot about forex trading lately..(not that i understand any of it..lol) and I am really interested in giving it a try... Does anyone out there know a lot about forex trading?? Is it extremely hard and is this even a good time to think about forex with the state of the economy all over the world? Is there any really good books or websites out there that teach you step by step how to get started with it? and that dont cost much to buy.. Thanks I hope to hear from you all!

Good that you wish to start doing FOREX. But let me throw a word of cautions first: FOREX is not for the weak at heart. The payoff can be great, and so can the loss. You can make 10-20% a night, and lose 99% the next if you are not careful. My advice? Learn the basic of forex trading and learn MACD and RSI intensely. And oh, learn also to control yourself!

Thank you...I kind of figured it was risky business...what isnt these days....but i would like to learn about it...i'd like to find a site that lets you practice for free and see how i do. Of course the results of that wont be the same as real results but it would give me a feel for it.. Like anything else I do i would only get started with money i could afford to lose....i dont gamble with money i cant afford to lose cause you never know what will happen.

I am currently using eToro forex trading software and I signed-up for a practice account and been using it for couple of days already. The very first trading I did I lost some, that night I gained it back (more than). Now I am trying to understand carefully and I don't go for the big profit, I am considering the lower and long term profit and least lost (if possible). Right now I am trying to note the currency fluctuation rate, the time for the best and worst time of trading. It's not that easy as it seems since currency fluctuations happen very quickly like dropping and increasing 4 points in seconds. But I am still looking for other forex trading site that offer lower investment, eToro has $50 minimum.

I have found a place where you are able to download a free forex tool, I wonder if you would be interested. If you like to have that tool let me know.

I have done a lot of online searching but you end up with so much info from so many sites and like everything else some are reliable and some arent and its hard to know which are... I didnt find any FREE e books though...i'll look for that. Just about anything you invest in it is possible to lose your money...but thats the way the game goes...
