I have heard about lots of hyips to invest money. What is your opinions about them? Do tell your thoughts about it.

My brothers and I tried a few of them. We first tried PIPS and invested quite a bit of money in it. The last we heard was that the man who started it, Brian Marsden, was on trial for money laundering. We then tried another and lost money again. That time around, we minimized the amount we invested having learnt from the PIPS issue. I tried two after that. One called Dancer Money and another called Accord Hyip. I lost my money in a few days. I set the investment for one week. By the third day, I could not even log on to the site. The ROI that they offer is not sustainable and this is why they all fail. Only those who get in early and claim their money will ever see any benefits. Everyone else will lose theirs. I would like to know if there is one out there that has been in operation for about ten years.

Nope, not a single one that old, that i can tell you. Only NanoMoneyCorp is the one that i know is operating since march 2006 and oldest to my knowledge. Geniusfunds and Panamoney are also a bit old, operating since 2nd half of 2008.

well as some one in the discussion has already stated the HYIPs follow the PONZI scheme in which the older memebers are paid using the new entrants money and follows a pyrramid structure.. therer are many HYIP sites around and many have turned out to be scams too... still there are good ones remaining and if you are looking for some good returns for short term investment you can try that.. i dont think HYIPs are god for long term investments

Well if you think HYIP is about "Investment" all the problems start. If you take it as a "game" then it is a Tom and Jerry fun. If you know you are in a game you will prepare yourself to lose but at the same time make your move so that your probability of making some profit increases. There is no such thing as "High yield investment" and money can not grow on trees. Most of the HYIP sites are definitely scams at least 99.99% of those. I have heard that some are legitimate but i don't know which ones are. I hate HYIP owners lie about their business model. Do not believe in that. However, I do play this game for the sake of playing only. This site: http://hyiprisk.blogspot.com/ says it right. As it is indeed a risky game, you will learn one thing if you get involved in it and that is how to manage your risk.

An Hyip is a High Yield Investment Program. Often ponzi schemes and just plain old scams disguise themselves as HYIPs, however, they are not. True HYIPs are programs which really do take in investments and use the money to fund an idea, or project. Until recently (last 5-7 years) "HYIP" has become a synonym for "internet money making program", however that is not truely what it stands for. Be very carful when investing money online. More than likely you will get scammed. Don't invest more money then you can afford to lose, and always treat Online HYIP investing as a gamble instead of investment.

I like using HYIPs to earn money. They are a high risk program but when you do find one that pays you can make quite a bit with them. I always tell my referrals to NEVER use any out of pocket money if they can help it. And never invest money you can not afford to lose. There is a strategy to using HYIPs. First you need to spend time checking the HYIP owner, which isn't an easy task because some hide behind a business name that doesn't even exist. These I do not deal with. Check for location (where they live)Out of your country is not a good investment site because they are not covered by the laws of your country. Make that phone call to see if it is a real number and ask questions about how they get their investment info and how they will invest your money and how they intend to pay you. Check everything before you invest. If it is a legit HYIP then you should still think about how long the site will last. Most are lucky to still be around in 6 months. You should take out your "seed " money as soon as you can then use your profits to make more. As for investing in HYIPs, Yes I do, not often but when one passes my test I invest more.

I would love to invest in one of them but I'm not involved in the community and when it comes to HYIPs you must invest early only once or twice because they go down fast. To do that and profit, you need to be active at forums and so on.

I will prefer not to invest my money anywhere till the time I earn enough money online so that I can risk loosing some. Many hyip's will turn scam & hence we loose money. So I try to play safe. Happy Lotting

The higher the return, the higher the risk. It's hard to invest nowadays as there are lots of scams. All hyips promise high return of investment but there's no guarantee whether you can collect back your investment once something happened. So be very careful.

The most important thing you need to know in doing hyip is that do not be too greedy. Anyway, I began to realize this after I lost my money, though not much, 9.5 dollars total. I suggest you invest in programs that have been operating for a long time and of interests rates below 2% daily (though some above this rate is also good), because only rates like this can they really get profits from their investment, others which brag that they can make you double or triple you investment in just several days is probablely scams
