Besides texting & calling, what else do you do with your phone?

besides texting & calling, i also download some books on my mobile phone, i like reading in this way. and like knyg did, i use it as a carema. my phone is an "oppo" product. have u heard of it? this brand is of high quality and in good shape. also, its two electroplates wear better than my products. once the mobile phone is charged up, it can work for a very long time. how much convenience this phone has brought to me ! i just like it and are satisfied with it!

i guess you got a good smart phone in your pocket . besides calling and texting, i play games,listen to music,play so off line videos and do whatever i can with my old smart phone.

Aside from calling I also use my phone to play games. It really helps especially when I'm waiting for somebody I'm having meeting with. I also use my phone to count the calories I've burned while dancing, running, or walking. I also use it as an alarm clock other than the one I already have. It helps when he noise is as close as my ear especially when I have to get up at 3:30 AM if I have a morning shift duty. I own a Sony Ericsson W580i.

Besides texting and calling, I just use my phone as an alarm to wake up lol. I will look at the calendar or use the calculator some days. But I mostly use it for texting and calling. I wish my phone had a notepad application but it doesn't for some reason.

Hi Knygma, Besides texting and calling I sometimes play games on my phone. I will also search the net. I have the Shine and I've been wanting to replace it because I dont like the slide front or the little toggle for scrolling. It's too small does anyone else have this phone? Cell phones are fantastic just imagine if we still had to look for payphones along the road while driving.

I don't use my phone for much else, mainly because I don't know how to use all the features on my phone. I do use the alarms as my wakeup alarm. I set 4 different ones to wake me up on work days. I just wish my cell phone had better ringtones. I also use my phone to take pictures.

Besides texting & calling, i use my phone mainly to surf the internet, check emails and stay updated. i am using the iphone and i've got the facebook app installed too. i use the app to keep myself updated on what my friends are doing. i also listen to music on my phone when i commute. other applications i've got installed include dictionary and games. i also make use of the calendar function to keep track of my schedule. like you, it's my alarm clock in the morning as well.

If not texting or calling my friend. I'm play games with my cell phone. And beside that no other thing that I could do...Have a nice day!

I used to use the calender feature, but it was annoying because the alarms on it will go off even when your phone is off so if I was at a place that said to turn your cellphone off, my calander alarms would still go off and I would be so mortifide! The alarm I use from time to time. Especially when I'm sick and have antibiotics that I have to remember to take. I won't remember to take them on time otherwise! LoL, my current phone does not get much game use on it because it does not access the web and so I can't get games on it. But, I keep my old phone with me still because it still has games of it even though it doesn't work to call anybody with it. Nice to have something to do when you are bored. I take a lot of pictures with my phone. Videos too. I text those to facebook and then save to my computer from there. Also, I'm so cheap that I didn't buy a calculater when I started back to school. I use my phone!

I have a fairly basic Nokia, which I really only use for phone calls or texting. Occasionally I will take a photo with it if I do not have my camera with me, or use the alarm while traveling, but that is all. I do not have any need for any of the other functions that come with most phones these days!

At home, go online to play Write documents to print them out later, to keep track of several medical, legal and insurance terms Keep track of my baby videos For photoalbums Reminders And to wake me up when I have to go to work (alarm)

I use the calander app on my phone as well as the calculator. I also use it as my alarm clock.

Nothing special, I use it for gaming, reminders and taking pictures. I don't even get to use it to play music. I always leave the headphones in the case, and forget to bring it when we're traveling.

hello knygma, well aside from texting and calling i use my cellphone in taking pictures and recording some events that i don't want to miss. while waiting for someone i play with the games or listen to the music so i will not get bored. also setting the alarm so i will not be late in going to work. these are some that i can do to my cellphone. was glad of the high technology that we are having now. it's so useful and handy at the same time. so small and yet so important.

I always use it to play games. It will be nice when shifting the gaming plan from my PC to my mobile phone. In many a cases i use it to take pics of any funny moments. The most fabulous work on my phone will be hearing music.

The only thing that I ever use my phone for besides the basic calling and texting is that I have it set as an additional alarm that I use during the week to wake us up. I've had a cellular phone since 1997, so I've really had one since before they had all the bells and whistles that they have now, and I've not been able to convince myself to use my phone in other ways than what I am accustomed to. The phone that I have right now is a Samsung Propel that I got just after last Christmas.

I use my phone as a modem to connect my laptop to the internet, alarm every morning, I used it before to look for a map. When I am bored and I do not have a computer, I use it to browse the net, one time I used to connect to the internet to find a stall I am looking for. hehe. I put memos, and file events and activities on my calendar, check the current time from another time zone (used it when I have projects from an online work with an employer with different time zone). Use my camera to take videos and pictures of things that amuse me. Play musics and watched movies. I don't have games in my phone now, kind of bored with it, I only have an internet browser application in my phone. I use Samsung Z720.
