My tastes definitely vary. I was raised on country music, but around 6th or 7th grade I started to get into some pop, like Ace of Base, because of school dances and stuff. I can really remember my musical tastes starting to expand about 8th grade, that was the year I started to listen to both Hanson and Marilyn Manson. Sometime in this time I started to get away from country music, and would really only listen to pop and like rock stuff. By the time I was 18 I was also into punk as well, which I picked up because of some bands I really like were influenced by punk bands. I look back and definitely there were times back then when I would kinda isolate into a few different kinds of music at a time. Now though, I am at a point where I basically like everything I ever liked plus more.
I listen to emo, punk, rock, country, disney pop(Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez, etc.), pop, electro/pop, etc... I like new stuff all the time. Well, my range of genres really doesn't expand much... like more recently I did start getting into more danc-y music, like Lady Gaga. Really the only music I never liked is rap, it's just not my thing, it does nothing for me, and I can't understand it. I also don't really like instrumental based music, because while I do appreciate the music and beat and stuff, lyrics for me are really the main reason I listen to music, its the way I relate to feelings and stuff.

I'm a massive fan of a lot of groups in a lot of styles: All sorts of Rock/Metal, Blues, Jazz I also enjoy chillied Trip Hop and some melow Dance.
Although generally I'm not a fan of Hip Hop, most Country and Western or Dance.
There are a few groups/artists that I like within the styles I'm keen on though.
It all depends on the bad really, but I biggest love is Rock! :)
