Hello acie.
Good to see you again and one of your discussions!
I have lost a lot of jewelries like rings, bracelets and necklaces but so far i haven't had my wedding ring and WOULD NOT lose it! The previous jewelries that i have lost gave by one of my special friends in high school. I was so scared that i ran on the previous places i have been to just to look for it. But sadly, i cannot see it anymore. So what i did was, i replaced the ring with a new one. He did noticed it later and got angry but we cannot do anything about it at all. So we just let it pass.
He was kind of upset when i lost the very first bracelet he gave me then the second one was the ring. I lost it too. The last one was necklace with pendant. The lace broke while the pendant got lost during college. So i had nothing left with me. Maybe i was too careless, i don't know.

My necklace broke because i was cleaning it every after use. Then accidentally, it broke off.
My ring was misplaced when i was washing my hands. I left it beside the sink then i forgot all about it. I remembered it after an hour so when i went back, i haven't seen it at all.
My bracelet fell when i was inside our car. I was taking it off that time then it totally lost my mind after i get up from the car, i did not see it at all.
I am always losing jewelries ever since i was a kid. When my mother brought me and my sisters a pair of earrings. I was the very first girl to lose the other pair.
So i guess i have to put an end to this habit.

My wedding rings are still in a biohazard bag from the hospital. About 6 months ago I was helping my husband split wood with our new wood splitter. A log had moved out of place and I tried to move it for him...smashed my finger! Almost cut it off!! I really miss my rings! We just don't have the money to repair or replace them!

Very expensive. Hubby paid about $5,000.00 for them. I have been unemployed for almost 2 years now. Then, one of our daughters got in some legal trouble and we are now caring for her 2 children...we can hardly afford to take care of them! Money is just too tight right now!

Hi acie,
Losing a wedding ring is a painful incident happened in life.
I almost lost my wedding ring on my wedding day.
On my big day, after me and my husband exchanged our wedding ring, we went to garden to have a photo with our photographer. On the way there, I reliazed that my wedding ring is not at my finger. I was so shocked and told my husband about it.
We were so worried that the ring might dropped at the road or hotel.
We were searching high and low inside our wedding car and I was so happy when I found my wedding ring lie underneath the car's foot cover.
I should wear the ring at my finger ,instead of wearing it outside the glove.it is too slippery and that is why it dropped out.I learn from my carelessness and from that day onwards, I am so scared to wear my wedding ring out. Till now, I kept my wedding ring inside the box in my bedroom.\\

I strongly believe that we will not lose our wedding rings with the kind of "ways" that we're doing just to make sure it's safe! Let's stay happy and in love always with our hubbies!
Have a great weekend to both of you!

if i lost my ring am positive my partner would be damn annoyed, upset and angry with me..even i would be if he lost it...but then when our heads have cooled down from boiling anger and when we would have finished fighting we would buy new rings for each other secretly and get married again and the process continuess.....
have funnn
happy mylotting

You know what!!! I have lost my wedding ring more than a year ago!!! And luckily I found it this month only! I am really lucky to have it back before my husband found out about it... I know you are wondering more than a year but my husband did not know... How come? Because he works in other country hehehehe. I remember taking it off my finger and then my kid asked me to look at it. My mistake, I forgot to get it back, morning I was looking for it because am going to work already and it was gone! I searched the whole house, I even asked my cousin to look for it but we did not find it... Just this month I don't know where it came I just saw it on our floor. Truly what is yours is yours. It will all come back to you. Thanks God!

Yeah right! I was also thinking of that before. I suspected somebody, but I did not confront her (which was also good, hehehehe) because I don't have any evidence. I know that it can't be lost but I have searched the whole area and still did not find it... In my mind I know that somebody really saw and took it and brought it to pawnshop and/or sold it perhaps... Things will not disappear if nobody took it...
It was really weird and until now I can't believe that I finally have my wedding ring again. I am just so happy . I feel so guilty thinking bad about that person ...
Lesson learned: Never jump into conclusion.

I don't have a weeding ring so I can't imagine the feeling with it. But I think it's the feeling when you get the ring from your hubby that makes sense. Besides, the ring is to show that now you're tied, so it doesn't matter if you replace the lost ring by a similar one.

It sucks! But you have to change it or change it both. That's what we did though my wife didn't lose it but it was broken. Maybe because it's quite thin and its silver, so we have to change both mine and hers.., a thicker and more nicer than the old one. It feels different but better than wearing nothing.

hello friendship!
of course i will be upset at first...coz this is one important thing for us and aside from that, its not cheap to buy a new one...hehe
but if i lost it...what will i do? nothing! look for it...but if i can't really find it anymore...just accept it! hehe and yes buy a new one!
there's no sense in crying over a spilled milk...hehe anyway, its just a ring..what's more important is the love that it symbolizes...

This topic is good as an alert to me. I think I better snap a photo of my wedding ring now so that I have a blue of the design in case I lost my wedding ring. I can always get the goldsmith to make an exact same one to replace it without my wife knowledge....lol.

I will really feel bad to the point of hating myself for being so careless to misplace and lost my wedding ring. I can always buy another one but our wedding ring has a unique and personalized design so it will never be the same again. Also, i don't know how i will tell my husband about this carelessness of mine.
Right now i am wearing the same wedding ring...never to lose this one!

I lost my wedding ring while swimming :)
When I realized it was gone, me and my wife asked for help from divers around us in our boat to find it. But no way. It has immediately stucked inside the sand and it was gone for ever. How ever, one of the divers found a gold necklace though. It was very interesting. He joked me saying, whether am I wearing my ring to my "neck" or "finger". Well it was an unlucky day for us but a lucky day for him.
When we returned home, our wedding rings both changed. We didn't sell my wife's one. It's still sleeping somewhere in our home.

If ever i were to lose it, i will definitely feel sad as well as guilty.. Even though i dun mean to lose it, and my partner has forgiven me, it wont be able to ease the guilt in me.. As i feel responsible for it, and it's supposed to be the physical vow of a marriage.. hehe ^_^
And if there's a new pair, it will never be able to replace the very first ring, as it's a unique and the only ring, also the very first ring, to be put on by our respective partners.. hehe
