It's that time of the month again!

Yeppers, another month, another session. I am of course referring to...."ZOMBIE WALK"! This lovely little event originated (To the best of my knowledge) in 2001, August, Sacramento, California, where costume/zombie enthusiasts worked their magic and tried their hardest on being the best zombie they could be! It became so popular, that even to regular events, like going to a movie, or the Evil Dead Musical, people dress up in their costumes, or not even, just put their dropping skin makeup, and just look awesome! I say this because I've been quite impressed with the artistic talent of these random peoples' makeup/hair/costume creations. SO! Due to the popularity of this event, it is now happening on an almost monthly basis, and most likely will lessen down to not at all during the winter months. And it's happening again this weekend! I will not be attending, due to another appointment I have booked. Is this event happening in your area? Not necessarily this weekend of course. Do you like this kind of event? Or do you think it's odd/silly/stupid? You can like the event but not have to be involved in the event itself.

I have never gotten into zombies, never liked the movies or much of ANYTHING about them. Now, if we were talking vampires....

Teehee. I don't know about you, but I was into Vamps WELL before the Twilight series, Buffy, etc. Have you seen the new Vampire Diaries series? I read the books when they first came out, and I'm overly confused how they're going to continue the show lol. OH! I have to mention this: I'm watching the twilight movie again, and I was thinking, Gee, if someone didn't read the book, they would think poor Edward was an idiot! What with him all like, "We can't be friends Bella." Um....then stop walking up to her and talking to her then? Stop staring at her? Yeah the books explain that better lol. Good ol' internal monologues!

It SUUUUUURE is! I think I'm dressing up as superman, as he's about to go change, so I'm going to pin back my work shirt so it shows my superman shirt. Not sure how I'm going to work the curl but I'll figure something out! And yeah, this is also the time for Zombie Pub Crawls to start haha.

Sounds like ya got a plan . I will either get to go out with Grand daughter or hand out candy! Either way I get to see all the kids dressed up and look at their faces which is alot of fun!

I had to look on your profile to see where you live. We don't have anything like that in my community that I know of. I lived not very far from Sacramento for quite a while and never heard of it there either, but maybe I just hang with a whole different crowd, rflm*o. Personally, although it is tempting, I don't get involved with anything where people wear costumes that confuse their identity. Probably this is as a result of having read too many Shakespeare plays.
