Let's see... from Beethoven and Wagner to Queen and Michael Jackson. One of the millions of musicians ever lived on Earth must be the most important. Think about how influent he/ she was. About the impact of his/ her work on music, society and generally to the world, etc. Who is the most important musician of all times.
I didn't put too much thinking into this topic but I think, my answer would be Michael Jackson. What do you think?

Nice topic you've got here, vroom. And challenging also.I've been thinkin' about this for a few hours now and I still can't come up with a name. There are many names wondering in my mind (Michael Jackson, Mozart, The Beatles, etc.) but none of them can actually stand for "the most important musician of all times". And although I don't have a name, my vote goes to the first man (cause i think it was a man) who discovered that by hitting something with some other thing in a certain way and then by continuing to do that following his senses, something beautiful comes out.

True, he was extremely influential. From setting the new standards of quality ( and budgets... ) for music videos and live shows, to new sounds still used today and a huge composer portofolio. I think his life work really revolutionized the music and the entire entertainment industry.

I'd go for Madonna. She was very revolutionary and polemic and her attitude really changed the music scenario status-quo.
