Do you do all the cooking? Do you share the responsibility with Family members? Do you cater it out? Do you eat at a restuarant? Tell me who cooks what or how you decide?

Nice to have your spouse cook with you. How many do you cook for? What will each one of you prepare?

Well, last year i did the Thanksgiving dinner. Turkey and potatoes, peas and sweetpotatoes. We had gravey and bunns. There was pumpkin pie for desert and ice cream for the kids. Oh we also had green bean casserole. This year my mother In law will be cooking and i will help out some. Its a nice time to get with family and my kids love helping there grandma out in the kitchen.

YUM! Sounds like you cooked a lot for just one person. I will be helping others cook this year and I am soooo happy I don't have to do it all!

My sister in law or my nieces usually cook most of it because we have it at their house. I usually bring some dishes to go with it.

I only live with my husband and i don't have any children. I live away from my parents so basically I have to do the cooking myself, even if I don't want to...lol... I don't celebrate thanksgiving but during my celebration eve, I will prepare some cookies a few days before, cook some beef or chicken (we call the dish 'rendang') and if I am in the mood I will prepare rice cubes (we call it 'nasi himpit'). Then my husband and I will go back to our hometown and I'll help my mother prepare the rest of the dish for the celebration.

My mom and grandmother usually make a list of what we are going to have. Then they tell us what is on the list and we pick what we want to make. I usually make some kind of veggie, a dessert, and tea.

Its usually my mom who cooks it or my girlfriend does but it all depends where we have dinner to.
