Christmas is coming?

I know everyone around the world has Christmas is one holiday we all can share..smiles what are some of the traditions in your native land that you enjoy most about this holiday?

Ever since I started going with my wife in college I have gien her a bell for the Christmas tree. As the Children were born I gave each of them an orinment too. I now have a daughter in law and two grand chrildern that I give one to also. It becomes a challenge because each year I try to select an orniment that represent something in their life that year. I spend all year looking for just the right one for each family member.

i do that with my son, each year I get him an ornament with his name handwritten on it with the year and i try to get something that represents what he was into the past year. he is five now and i just can't see giving up the tradition with him.

We spend Christmas Eve at the relatives and pretty much on our own on Christmas

We have Christmas eve with the grandchildren. Christmas day everyone pretty much stays at home and just relax. I do not fix a big meal, maybe a ham, salads, fingerfoods because no one wants to eat anyways. They just want their presents.

Okay I have a 5 year old son and his father and I are divorced, so Christmas eve, my son spends the whole day with his father. I go to church Christmas eve and then my son comes home and we put milk and cookies out for santa and reinderr food outside for the reindeer. Then Christmas morning we do the present thing together and then we get around, go visit my grandmother, do the present thing with her, then we go to my mom's and have a big Christmas lunch and then clean up and do presents there. It's a busy day, but I wouldn't give it up for anything.
