I am one of those people that love music. I also love listening to music. When I get in my car I crank the stereo. I love it. When I hear a song that I like I turn it on a crank up the volume. I sing along to the music. The music make me feel so alive. When I am feeling down I just turn on a good song and it puts me in a great mood. It takes my worries away. I don't know what I would do with out music. Life would be boring with out it. There is alot of things that involve music. I just have so much fun in my car listening to music.

I used to listen to loud music when driving my car also. I still listen to music but not too loud. I cannot focus on my driving when it is very loud anymore. I hardly ever go places anymore either.

I am the same way! Music isn't the same if it's not loud. I especially like to listen to music using headphones. In the car though, I love listening to music on my Ipod. If I'm alone, I usually crank the volume. If I'm with others, I keep the volume a decent level. But I agree. Without music, I don't know where I'd be!

I don't play my music loud at all, because loud music hurts my ears. I prefer to listen to it at a low and reasonable tone.

No, I hate loud music while driving it distract me and if the music is too infectious I tend to absorb the emotional lyrics of the song that i may get carried away thus neglect the proper driving which may not be good. Any driver who plays loud music is an easy victim of any vehicular accident because the focus is out with the wheel but mostly engage his ears to listen to music my decreased his alertness...
Then, it is also annoying when one ride a transportation vehicles that the driver could not even heard the passenger who like to make a stop because of his loud speaker..

I love to listen music especially when I am driving. I used to drive a long distance say around 3000Kms every week and it'd be quite boring without listening to music and driving. Thanks for posting the discussion and have a great day. Happy Mylotting. Cheers:-)

I am one too, Does this ever happen to you? You finally get to where you need to be and have to turn off the car and the stereo just in time when a very good song comes on?That makes me so mad..............And after a long week at work its nice to hear loud music on the weekends........

no, i don't like loud music while car is running. i don't drive now and my oldest son takes charge of this. he turns on the music to a high volume and that really distracts me. i always tone down the volume and advise him not to do it as it distracts his attention while driving. i am one who prefers to listen to local news than music. it updates me of anything for the day. i love to listen to music but i do it to enhance my mood or liven it up. this generally happens in the office while working.

I dare not to play music loudly when driving although I really love music.
From where I stand, it is really dangerous to play music loudly when you are driving a car. Once you are addicted to the music, then you can't pay more attention to drive. Perhaps unfournately, you may meet some unexpected situations. Yes, just for our carelessness, it may lead to a serious accident.
In all, listening to music in cars is very agreeable, but we really need to pay attention to drive.
