Hi, Though there is no hard and fast rule for it, I would say the most well paying and available jobs are from computer science and engineering. But as our IT market is mainly based on overseas investment, it was never a stable market. The core sectors like oil, electricity has a limited opportunity and not-so-satisfying salary scheme. But they have a relatively stable stronghold. If you think you want to earn lots of money in a smaller duration you go for IT sector. Otherwise, core engineering departments like electronics, electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, civil etc is always here for you. Take care God bless you
