I think playing puzzle is fun, especially when you are playing it with someone, I think it helps to build the relationship through playing puzzle too.
I just bought a puzzle, which is the picture of Disney characters. My husband and I thought of hanging it on the wall so that our baby can always look at the pretty picture. Both of us are having good time playing the puzzle, finding the matching pieces. My husband even worked on it until 3 o'clock in the midnight. We have been working on the puzzle for two days, it's almost there. I'm looking forward to complete it and frame it soon.
When both of us were working on the puzzle, my brother-in-law came and saw us playing the puzzle. He was wondering why we spent so much time and make our lives so trouble, instead of just buying a picture and hang on the wall. Well, I do not know how to explain the fun of it. I suppose some people just don't like playing puzzle? How about you? Do you think playing puzzle is fun or stupid?

They can be very fun. But, the reason I think alot of people do not like puzzles is that they are too hyper to set still long enough to do them. Also, they get frustrated and can't stick with it very long either. It is just the nature of the beast!

I liked to play the puzzle long time ago. At that time I was a student. I don't play it any more right now. Because it can really spend a long time. I bought some famous painting with 1000 puzzles but I haven't started to play it yet. I don't think I will ever play it again. My son will make troubles if he sees me to play it:)

Well, I have not actually spent any time putting a puzzle together in yrs. I would be a lot of Fun to do, especially if you are wanting to glue it together once it is done as well. But I am known to do Word searches and play some puzzle type games online from time to time.

Hi kaka135,i do play puzzles but the time i spend now for puzzles is reduced compared to my childhood.Your discussion about puzzles has rekindled my sweet childhood memories when i used to play puzzles with my siblings.Puzzle is a good indoor game and one can play it for hours together without getting bored. It is also a game which is very clean and clear thatis no one can cheat the opponents or play any tricks to beat the other.I think only those who have played puzzle or those aware of that game can understand the hidden fun in playing puzzle.

I used to do Sudoku years back, but am now bored playing with numbers. Now it is all words that make up my world. Puzzles are no doubt a great way to exercise your gray cells, but for now, I prefer reading to solving puzzles. I would, however, welcome them for a change.

Hi kaka! I have never done a puzzle with anyone or really sit down and done one myself. I had a couple of family member that loved to do them. I bet it would be fun to do them with someone else. Maybe I'll get a small one and let my girls try and help me with it.

it's fun kaka... I have lots and lots of puzzle fixed at home.. I played with 5000 & 10000 pieces all the time...
now, my baby is still too young, and I have got this intention to play with her when she gets older and understand the game. I will be training her with those smaller number, and those board which has been marked the position of the pieces.
It's a great bonding time for everyone, when we put our heads together to complete one puzzle.. We used to do that with my dad, which he will be in charge in getting the border, while me and my brothers, will work on the individual pieces on our own.
It's the satisfactory feeling that we look for when come to complete the puzzle.. just to make sure we didn't lose any pieces of it!

HI Kaka,
It is great thing that you and your husband have done, playing puzzle together. It will helps to bring stronger to your relationship.
The very last time I was fixing a puzzle with my husband was 4 years back. We bought a Winnie the pooh puzzle from Singapore and we fixed it when we back to his hometown.
It is a good quality puzzle and till now the colour still remain unchanged.
After that, we fixed another puzzle of zodiac (sagitarius),i remembered that was 100 pieces puzzle and we took about one week to get it done. This puzzle is low quality as the colour is getting faded and yellowish.
It has been long time i never play with puzzle...I should find one day playing puzzle with my husband again, and this time not only both of us are doing, of course, my son will take part too.

Puzzles are indeed enjoyable and also a good way to sharpen the brain. But lately I've not been playing puzzles due to busy schedules. Well my little grandkids do love puzzle and I always make it a point to bring them new puzzle games each time. Playing puzzle entertains them a lot and keep them still. It challenged them a lot and they will not stop till they build the whole picture and once they were able to successful do, they will be very proud and feeling so fulfilled. It is indeed a great way of keeping children busy and I am saved from the noise they usually create when playing.

My husband and I used to put lots of puzzles together but it has been a few years now since we have put one together. I'll have to get one of them out of the closet and start it and then he will help me hopeful when he gets home from work. When we first go married we did lots of them he told me he used to help his mom put puzzles together.

Playing puzzle is really funny with others, especially when I am playing it with my old friends and classmates.
As you have said above, puzzles are helpful for us to build the relationship with others. In fact, playing puzzle is really a good way to communicate with others, to keep in touch with your friends. At the same time, when you play puzzles, you must pay much attention to the question and think it twice before showing your answer, so the game can further our brains developing again.
For most children, it is a useful way to develop their brains and make them wiser.
