Where to look for my computer's IP number?

yeah they were right..Just type the "ipconfig" in the command prompt then you will the IP address of your system.

There are bunch of websites like whatismyip.com, myipaddress.com etc to find your IP address online. Alternatively press Windows key + R to open "RUN" command window. Type cmd and hit enter. In the DOS command prompt type ipconfig and press enter to execute the command. This will show you the windows IP configuration information. It is listed as "IPV4" address. The first method always works.

hello muru1950 there is also another method to know your intenet protocol address... here it comes follow the steps 1. goto run 2. type command.com 3. type ipconfig/all 4. ypur ip address comes to the dos screen.. 5. sit back and njoy happy mylotting
