Hello friends,
Yes I hope I'd have gone to the extreme...
This question may be weird but to what extent you go for your best friend? What will be the meaning of a friend for you? Yes, I agree there are different levels for each of our friends. But there must be single best friend for everyone of us...
If you are not ok with the above question, let me put it in this way...
Who will die? You or your best friend if any of you must die?
How far you can go for a friend? What is the place in your heart for your best friend?I never gone to a dying situation for my best friend but don't know I could go up to there......
Even in the Bible it is said in JOHN 15:13 "Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends".
Please share your thoughts friends..... I love to hear from you guys...
Cheers... Have a blessed day always...

Who knows ? I am sure I would try to help them and possibly die trying ,I guess. Unless it was my hubby or daughter,I would not die for anyone willingly.I wonder what would make you ask such a question????

You are such a nice mother and a good wife to your husband. I really appreciate it. But your reply is great that 'die trying'.... Its really different.. But it is really hard for anyone to die for a friend I know...
Cheers.... Have a nice day always...

That is a tough question...I love my best friend and I have always said I would do almost anything for her...Would I die for her? No...She has adult children and I have a seven year old who needs me and I would not like to leave her too soon. It is tough to admit that because my friend is very dear to me but, strange as it sounds, I am pretty certain that she would understand the reasons for my answer.
The only person that I would lay my life down for without hesitation is my daughter and I can say that with absolute certainty.

That's just like saying am I willing to leave my family, my wife, my children to an uncertain future and die for my best friend. I think the answer is obvious.
But I will do everything to help my friend but as to whether I will directly take the bullet for him, i'll just say I'll cross the bridge when I get there.
enjoy life!

I would die for my best friend. I really do not enjoy much of life anyway. I would hope to leave the world and give them a better life than what I have had. They would have to truly be my best friend though.

Hey phillip--shiny where do you get this ideas? OMG! I really don't know what I would do because a friend is important but so Am I not just for me but I would have other people that I Am important too. So if I die for my friend [ just suppose] what will happen to the other people depending on me? [ say my children for example] I really have to think on that one if I die I can't help anyone! but I can do more by been alive!

Dear alottodo,
Just curious to know about the thoughts in the people's mind, thats it but not to be so rude. Just a flash a thought came and raised this discussion... Really I don't want anyone to die if I am a best friend to them. Instead, I would think about dying for them..
Cheers... Have a blessed day always...

hi phillip shiny oh yes I hope that I could if it ever came
to that. My best friend is very, very dear to me and I would
do anything for her to help her, and she is the same with
me. she helps me to keep my sanity here at Gold Crest. she
calls me every Wednesday night and sometimes just drops in
here to see me so I would do most anything for her if push
came to shove.

I would die for my husband, my children and my grandchildren but, sadly, no I would not die for my best friend although I love her dearly. The fact of the matter is that she wouldn't die for me either, I'm sure. We both have families who we love, who love us and depend on us and who would be suffer a deep emotional loss if either of us were to perish. I would fight to save her with all my will but, for the sake of the ones who love me, I would fight for my own survival as well.

I do not like to die for only one if I like to sacrifice myself it is for the good of all the people, such for samples their is a mission to find a person who are willing to go for an experiment to saves the world such as in disaster movies. I would volunteer myself to do it for the survival of mankind. But the truth I am not afraid to die if we're all together..

Been setting and thinking on this a bit and I can't honestly say yay or nay to it as a general statement..It depends on circumstances..Tho I believe I would achieve the idealism and be able to compromise my life for a friend, I could not compromise my standard for anyone, be they friend or foe.
The Bible quote, I think, was the Christ telling his Apostles that someone was gonna put it all on the line for them, and everyone..Not stated as a general rule of conduct with frienships and loyalties.
The only one we need put our life down on is the Christ, as he did for us, and on the standards he taught and lived. Anyone who falls within that circle is worth the sacrifice of one's life. Anyone outside of that circle, even your very best friend, is not worth the sacrifice.
Enjoy!

This is a tough question, I want to say yes but I'm not sure that I could, I believe the only person I could truly die for is my mom, why? Because she is my best friend. I do have a best girl friend and we are really close but I don't know if she'd die for me, that's a good question, I should randomly bring this up when she comes home from work in a while lol
If I was married and had my own family, which I don't, but if I did, I'm not sure I could die for anyone but my family.
Life is so short and precious even though times get tough, I'd hate to give up my own life, there is so much I want to enjoy, learn and do while I'm still on this Earth.
Have a good night!!
