Who is your best friend?

My best friend is a friend of life time. My best friend is a boy. I met him in my NCC camp. It was in the camp where we became friends. Ours is a fourteen years friendship. Don't know whom we were before we met but till today we are good friends. Actually we were the leaders of groups. He was to one group and me to our group used to just see while giving daily reports in the roll call parades. It was last day of our camp and we were about to leave then it was me wanted to take autograph of him and was not so much mean scared to go and ask him directly it was one of my friend who helped me in this aspect when I told her about this. The reason for me to take autograph is felt that he is good as used to see daily and he was well disciplined. Finally it was tomorrow we should go back to our places and it was last day of our camp on some work he was going and me and my friend approached him my friend asked him saying that she wants your autograph then he didn't say anything just gave what he wrote was "BE GOOD AND DO GOOD"..even his address was given below that said thank you and asked him if there was any problem if we write any letters to the given address nothing he said and we dispersed not more than that we talked with each other. We were in train on the way to our places then it was me first who wrote a letter saying that I am interested to continue friendship with him and nothing else give reply if he is interested it was in train I wrote that letter. I posted that letter as soon I reached our place in railway station only. He received the letter and even got reply that never mind and can continue. Felt happy after seeing his reply and sent a good card about friendship. Our friendship started and continued writing letters to each other. Again we had a camp in the same place but he didn't have it was the same place where he was studying. Wrote a letter to him that we came to camp. After knowing it was one evening he came to meet with his friends to camp site even today I remember that he came in white and white kurta. He introduced his friends to me and my friends. Camp was coming to an end and the next day when we were about to leave he and his friends came to give send off to railway station. Felt happy to see my friend we sat together for some time discussed about each others families this and that. I purchased a pen stand for him as his birthday was near by and he bought lots of cake to me and my friends to have in journey. Even today I remember that day it was August 8th 1995. There was agony inside that we are going to depart and don't know when we could see again or meet again. As my family was very strict in all aspects about friendship with boys that too in 90's then it was not as much as now no cell phones even land lines it was difficult where if mama or papa lifts when called. Our parents were very particular in all the things. We continued our friendship through letters as dad got transferred me and my sisters were in hostel. It was then in the middle once he came to meet me and my friends then I introduced my sisters to him. They too felt happy by meeting him as I always used to say about him. Next me and my friends along with him went out had lunch ice-cream. Finally bid bye...with a heavy heart. All this was in my degree second year. Next dad was transferred back and my last year degree got over and in summer vacation when I had been to my native place he came and wanted to meet me and my family. I was not there and he met my friend came to know about me and went off. For few months there was no contact as he too completed his studies and where he was also I couldn't and my results came I passed in distinction and even got seat in PG entrance exam but suddenly proposal came and it got settled then I called and called to the only number which I had been given by him saying that my marriage has been settled and inviting him to my engagement. It was his uncle's number and he didn't get the information his uncle didn't say him and when ever I used to call him also he used to say that who are u ma? don't call like this he even scolded once saying this and that. My marriage was settled and he didn't come to my engagement and didn't call to that number but had address of his native place sent wedding card to that address. I couldn't understand where he was and as there was no response to any and he couldn't come to my marriage also. I missed him a lot even cried for that as it was he whom I felt as a friend of mine. I was busy with my family life but u believe or not I never forgot him and now and then even used to say about him to my husband that he was my best friend. Thought that I would never meet him again in my life as I was busy with my married life and not like before to enquire about him. Just the only thing I did was without missing a year I used to send new year wishes to his native place thinking that some day or other he may come in contact and prayed God that I need him in my life having trust on God that some day or other. Where ever he was he used to be always in my prayers. Three years got over one day suddenly I got a call from him first I was astonished how he came to know about my phone number and couldn't believe that it was my friend. He said that he came to know my phone number from one of his friend who was from the place where we were as my husband was a police officer it was easy to know the number so in that way he got my number and I was really couldn't express and finally came to know that he couldn't get any message of my engagement and about wedding card he saw it late already got over by the time he saw that and felt sad. Again from then we came in to contact then he was doing his Aeronautical engineering in Mumbai. Till today we are in contact with each other helped him in getting a good life partner. Me and my family attended to his marriage in his native place. Now he is working as AME. Now and then we meet each other. Really MANY THINGS CATCH OUR EYES IN OUR LIFE BUT ONLY FEW PURSUE OUR HEART HOLD THEM. Even today I feel generally in ones life every relationship is it depends as a mother, sister, brother, father......all relationships we care for each other as we have some or other relation. It's only in friendship we care each other, love each other with out any relation.........it's completely selfless.......That's the love and care we have for each other...My affection and care for my friend it continues till i close my eyes permanently. Please do pray God for our long lasting friendship.

i have lots of bestfriend since i've been living to different places when i was still single, now that i am married... i considered my children and my husband as the only best friend that i could ever have.

My best friend is Donna we met when I was 6 an here we are 37 years later she is my oldest daughters godmother an even thouh we live apart we still talk at least once a week what do i like about she is kind she will do anything to help someone in need an she is easy to talk to

Hello..Jackwolf,,My best friends is my schoolmate. We have known each other for a long time since we were in QUST Unversity at 2004. We study together to prepare our undergraduate entrance examination. and then 2006, We are lucky to be admitted to the same Unversity to contimue our study.. In all, it is 6 years, we are often together to have a dinner, have a journey, to study and so on or everthing we want to do ....Our relation looks like blodd broter,,

oh well my best friend is a girl , we met 7 months before and well she is like my sis. mm as far as girlfriends concerned , no i dont have any girlfriend , and i dont see any hope to end up with my girlfriend in bed if i had one , because that would simply mean that i would contribute in ruining her life and i would not do any such ting to one i loved, but ya i'would love to end in bed wit the one whom i would commit to marry.

My best friend is a girl, we met in high school. She is very sweet and always there when i needed her the most. She is in a different country right now and i missed her dearly. We have a big misunderstanding right now that's why we are not as closed as we used to be. It started after the high school graduation, being the jerk that i am is the reason why we started to have a gap in our relationship. Hopefully we can patch things up when she comes back. And about your question if our relationship ended up in a bed way, well she's hot and i wouldn't mind...LOL But i already treat her as my little sister and that is gross.

My best friend is my husband. We have been married for one year but we have known each other and have been best friends for 17 years. We have know each other since we were in college. We were just plain friends then, we became committed as a couple after 11 years of being friends. Failed relationship in the past lead us to find comfort in each others arms. I am so happy that we end up in marriage. Adjustment as a married couple has been very easy because the foundation we have is the friendship that we have eversince.
