hi. i have high heeled shoes and it just kills me to wear them. i see celebrities and other people wear their shoes so comfortably, no matter how high their shoes are. do you have any suggestions on how to wear them for a day without having to take them off every other time just to rest your feet? thanks.

choose the right kind of high heels. there are high-heeled shoes that are only nice to look at but are not comfortable for use. try on different kinds before buying one and try walking while wearing it. for tips on how to walk gracefully like a lady and without the strains and pains of heels, try reading the book "How to walk in high heels" and its sequel. ^^

I am going on rage by wearing a lot of heels next year.I bough myself a pair of feet cushions.they're gel-like materials you can insert in your shoes.they help in giving comfort to the balls(the bones near your toes)of your feet.also, try alternating shoes.for instance, you can wear heels on Monday, flats on Tuesday, high wedge on Wednesday.this will help in preventing bunions.

Since high heels put all your weight on the balls of your feet, there are some things you can do to lessen the discomfort. You can wear lower heels (up to, say, 2 inches... rather than going with a 4 inch heel) or, if you like really high heels, get cushions for your shoes. Here's a website with some examples:

I've also read that really inexpensive heels will never really get "broken in" and more comfortable... so it's better to buy the best quality shoes you can afford.

I try not to stand or walk much but if it happens that my feet start killing me I switch the weight I put on each foot. like Ill lean on my right side and that will give comfort to my left foot then switch this doesnt do so great b ut does a little bit.

You can also buy platform shoes. My highest shoes are a pair of platforms, and they're great because they're like wearing flats but you're up on a stair--you're not tipped forward, putting pressure on the balls of your feet and your toes. You're also less likely to fall for that reason. I mean, you don't want to run in them, but you're better off running in them than in stilettos.

im sure this celebrities feel uncomfortable too but they are used to it. i also have a lot of high heeled shoes and there are shoes that are comfortable to wear and there are shoes that are not. choose the shoes very well, not just because it looks good but also if it feels good to wear it. sometimes when i shoes looks good on my feet i buy it at once then will regret it once the shoes are not that comfortable to wear.
