What are your thoughts on breastfeeding

So we have 3 children, 1 was formula fed, one breastfed & our 3rd breastfed so far for 2months. As much as i love breastfeeding I don't get other peoples perceptions. If you give your child formula its compared to "rat poison" if you breastfeed, then you constantly get bad looks for showing your breasts. I buy special tops so it is discreet-its obvious baby is feeding, but short of that nothing is being revealed, yet we still get the bad looks. I put a bunny rug over our baby & still people don't agree. & yet I'm sure if we were to leave our baby crying until we got to the parents room, then we'll be frowned upon once again. What are your views on breastfeeding & why do you think its looked upon good/bad?
