Lemon juice alternatives for treating acne?

When I was suffering, I also used to drink plenty of water - acne WILL get worse before it gets better if you start drinking a lot of water. Get at least eight hours sleep if possible. Try to get into a routine. Avoid stress as much as possible - take up yoga or meditation. Try and keep fit and active. Avoid anything with high toxins. Medium toxin content are okay if you are taking lots of low toxin foods and liquids. Get out in the sun - although as mentioned above, getting a tan IS bad for you, you do need some sun. Vitamin E & D are essential to clearing your skin up. If you have greasy skin and find yourself washing several times a day - this is why. If you wash too much, you will dry your skin out and your body will produce more grease to compensate - cut down.

I am not sure if it helps for acne, but here is a recipe. if you add two table spoons of REAL lemon juice, and GRADE A syurp, then mix it with 8 ounces of water, you will have made a lemon aid that dosent taste to bad and that will clean out your system. this is meant to be a diet that replaces everything for a week. I cant do it for that long, but even if you replaced this for two meals a day, it would help detoxify you, and possibly help with your acne. I made it for three days, then my body said no more. this diet should be done once every couple of months to help keep your system free of toxins. anything acidic can help your body to some extent.
Also you can always add more lemon juice for flavor, the syurp can be potent. maybe this will help.
