OK, I have been going through most of the recent discussions for a few hours now, but I only managed to respond to just a few of them. I can't seem to focus and I don't think I can squeeze my brain to think any further so, what I did just now I went back to some of the old discussions started by other members that I have commented to and responding back to their responses. At least in this way I still can participate and not wasting my time and I hope they will respond back to my responses.
So, have you been doing this as well? If you have responded to someone's comments in your discussions, will you respond back to his/her response to your response??
Phewww... I hope that this does not confuse anyone.
Thanks in advance!

That's what most of my activity consists of here. I have notifiers on and as soon as I receive a comment on a response then I go back and comment. The user then comes back again and I go back and... well you've got it by now I guess

From the number of your posts, you do a lot besides commenting..

Hi, MysD!
Yes, I have seen you've been doing that and sometimes, it's funny reading the whole conversations especially when you were using the emotes. There were a couple of times when I responded back to the comments I receive in my discussions and I asked back about something, sadly they received no responses from the commentators.

hi corry^^;;
i do try that sometimes when my brain is dull and doesn't seem to have any idea to share on the new discussions. i like to comment back on comments since i would love to be the last one who posted because i felt sorry when i just stop and didn't comment back...i don't like leave the discussion hanging. though, i can't always do this all the time but i try.

You have a dull brain?
Since when?
You came up with loads of suggestions last time I bumped into you - or was it you who bumped into me?

Hi, Lucky! Yea, sometimes there are discussions that are left hanging. I will go back to all the discussions I have responded to because I believe there is one or two or even more that I can still keep them going. Well, at least you are trying...

I like to respond back but when the chain starts getting longer,I loose my edge so stop abruptly.. Still I put my best
Reviving old responses is a great idea for participation. But that doesn't help me in increasing number. You see I am in race with someone!

Hi, Hora!
So, you are racing with someone to increase the numbers, huh?? That is quite motivating. I love to see my numbers increase because it proves that I am active in here and I guess most people seem to look at the numbers instead of the number of responses receive he he he...

That's the whole game here! The idea is to post discussion, comment on others responses! If you wish keep it going! This is how you make good friends and cash here! If you don't respond to others responses to your post do you expect them to keep you in their loop? This is why I always tell new people here not to post a bunch of discussions, because there are responsibilities to others when you do this! Including rating them with a plus or minus and awarding a best response! I hardly ever post any discussions here, I've learned I can make more cash, and keep my friends happy by doing responses and just playing around here with comments! tdemex

I do that to or when I am not in the mood to start or respond to heavy topics I wonder around and have a read of existing discussions and their comments and I will almost always find that there is a spot just waiting for me to fill it. What I like here is that there is always something to do. During the ‘glitch’ last week I still managed to respond to heaps of discussions and earn without disruption.

Hi, Paula!
I should do this often and most likely I will find a spot for me, too. I almost didn't notice there was a glitch until I read some of the discussions mentioned about it because like you, I still could respond to almost 30 discussions and have no problem in my earnings.

I don't always unless theyn have a question they want answered so I will comment twice to the same user. I don't really start all that many discussions, as I am having a hard time coming up with good topics to respoond to. That is mainly why I just respond to others discussions, as I don't have to think so hard, and I don't have to come up with a topic of my own. There are some that won't comment back at all to the responses they receive, but they don't understand they are hurting themselves by not commenting back. They are losing earnings. I don't think they realize that they do need to comment to earn, as they expect to get paid for the responses they receive, but it just doesn't work that way. I am enoying myself so much in here, I do as much as I can when I am here. Good lcuk to you and happy mylotting.

Hi, Rose!
I also think that it is much easier to comment on other discussions then to start one. However, sometimes, our brains just don't want to work with us he he he...
So, when I am having a hard time writing down what I think or I simply stare at the screen reading and worst just scroll up and down the page, now I think it is great to just go back to the discussions I have responded to before. Yup, there are some that you don't have to comment twice, but you can also add something in others' comment box.
I agree that those who do not respond might not know that they will earn by only responding to the responses receive and not by the number of responses. It is a waste if they receive many responses, but they don't get back to comment with the topics they have started and know best at.
Well, thanks for the best wishes and same goes to you!!!

hi corrycrystal I understood you perfectly and sometimes yes I'
do respond back to their responses to me, and sometimes I just let it pass, but it is a lot of fun to keep things going too.
That is a good idea,to go back to some of the older discussions occasionally and have some fun responding. I get stuck to at times
'and its like a kind of brain freeze.maybe I will use your strategy some time too.

Hi, Hatley!
Glad that you do understand what I mean and find that it is a practical approach of keep on participating whenever we have run out of ideas or just can't put them in words. I think I have responded to your discussions before and there is something I want to respond about the avatar. I will get back to you soon!

i have posted something recently about reviving old discussions. that's actually what we can do to get our old discussions alive again. it's not forbidden in the guidelines to revive old discussions by commenting back to those responses and comments already there, even if it was a year old or older. that's something we can do if we are getting no new discussions we get interest, aside from starting a new one.

Hi, Neil!
Owh, I didn't see the discussion before when I used the search box. What I have read and participated was about going back to old discussions started by friends in our friends' list. I think it has the same point, though. I do that when I am stuck somewhere or I can't seem to find the discussions that interest me and my brain won't co-operate!
Well, what matter most that there are lots of us here who would do just this and it's great because most older discussions are not only interesting, but also with good quality, too.

I did not immediately respond to responses from other members of the responses, I first read their discussions and provide feedback if my mind not blank.

Oh, I think I understand what you mean. You will have to read back all those discussions before you are going to respond back to them, right?! Yes, it's a good tactic so that you will understand better and have more ideas to comment.

Hi, May2k8!
Actually, I don't get it what you were saying... am confused here... Do you mean that you will respond to other members' responses if your mind is not blank??
So, if you have responded to some members' discussions, and those members responded to your responses, would you respond back?? Hope this won't confuse you he he..

Hi corrycrstal, the only thing with that is that the person you are responding back to for the second time won't get an alert to the fact that you've responded back a second time, so it all depends if they see a new entry on their started list. It will move their discussion back to the top of their started list when you respond back again.

Hi, Thea!
Yea, that is why I am hoping that they will somehow see my respond or else it won't get any feedback for the second time. However, as you mentioned that it will go back in the 'recent' pool, so, most probably, other members will respond and the creator will get notifications at the same time see my response as well. If not, well, at least I try and I will still earn.

Hi corrycrystal
Hmm i have to say sometimes i spend more time reading some discussions rather than posting something, this is a waste a little money but i get so engrossed, yeah but like you sometimes i find it hard to respond to some discussions, i mean some are not the ones where i could post something useful, your idea seems to be nice though, going back to the responses and commenting back on them, a nice way to earn more and interact as well, keep it up!
have a nice day corrycrystal!

Hi, Voldrox!
Sometimes, I would occupy myself with reading all the discussions and responses as well. It amazes me how people can come up with great ideas and advices, but then, I realize I haven't posted anything yet he he he...
So, when I tried to put my thoughts in words, every thing was out of place! Most probably, I have no idea at all!! Then, I guess it is better to go back to the older discussions that I have responded to and add something as it seems that I could still relate to the particular topics.
Anyway, thanks and you too, have a great day!!!

I don't quite understand what you mean. Do you mean that you love to respond to new discussions only? Or will you comment back whenever you receive responses to your discussions??

You should respond specially when it promotes a healthy discussions and inputs. It's the most enjoying part and could really earn you some cash.

Hi, Hex!
I agree with you. When there are more things to say and share, it is good to keep on responding back otherwise we will lost a great discussion and potential of increasing our earnings. I will do that now from time to time.
