Well before i go to sleep i have a pee as i usually have a bath in the early evening as that way if i was to have a bath before i go to bed it would keep me awake. Before i have a pee i always go on the pc to see if i have any emails as well as try to come on here to unwind a bit.

I usually just lie in bed talking to my husband, whose lying next to me. It's something that we have the habit of doing, if we both go to bed at the same time. Sometimes, he goes to bed after I do, or something like that. After we talk for a bit, I try to relax as much as I can and clear my mind of any stress, work, or anything like that. This is usually what I have the habit of doing.

This is a good discussion, and I know that everyone must sleep so that way their body is rested and has the energy it needs to get things done, and I am sure that different people have different things that they do before they go to sleep, and when it comes to me I always use the bathroom,me and my wife make the bed up,and get something to drink,we usually watch television for a few minutes,or we might lay and talk, and the last thing I do before I go to sleep is tell my wife good night and that I love her because if I do not tell her those things I do no sleep good, because we never know what is going to happen, and when things will end,and I always want her to know I love her, have a great day ,good luck with your life, and all of your mylotting goals, and Happy Posting.

Spoken like a true romantic. Wow, I like the part where you say you don't know what will happen tomorrow...how true...So appreciate them when you can! I usually kiss my wife and kids goodnight (but I don't say I love you - maybe I should...)

Yeah it is true, and we should appreciate them when we can,and I am glad you kiss your wife goodnight, and if I were you I would tell her you love her, because you never know if that will be your last chance to tell her,and I would not want to have any doubt that my wife knows I love her if I were to go,or if she were to go,which hopefully will not be for a long time to come, have a great day, good luck with your life, and all of mylotting goals, and Happy Posting.

Hi Icesmile, I suppose you mean the very last thing before sleep, aside from the cleaning up and going to toilet. I usually read a book (or parts of it), until I fall asleep. And most of the time, I would fall asleep even before I can finish a chapter, unless the book is so interesting that I would fight sleep to read more!

Hi icesmile, what a truly fascinating and interesting discussion regarding what to do before sleeping. Before sleeping I will of course have the bed prepared for sleeping with a small lamp on so as not to lose my way in the darkness, ensuring all the alarm clocks are set for the followiing morning, and ensure there is a bottle of cold water by the bed. Then I will clean my teeth.

Before I go to sleep, I prepare all the things that I will need and bring with me to the office, and of course, I shower. In bed, I read the Bible and pray. Then I'd check my cellphone for any text messages, and reply if needed. Lastly, I'd set the alarm so I won't oversleep and be late for work.

The very last thing for me is making sure my alarm is set. I have to be on time as I open the office each day.

Hi ICesmile, Another great discussion from you. The last thing I did before my bedtime is to wash my hand and my legs ,and also brush my teeth. I seldom have a late shower unless I went out late at night. That is my routine and I have been emphasized this routine to my son too. Both me and husband are doing the same routine and our son will be doing it too. Staying clean will makes our life healthier.

After I give my husband a kiss goodnight, I turn the radio onto the BBC World Service, so I can listen to the news and documentaries, as I am falling asleep at night.

Before I go to sleep at night time I like to wash my face lastly. I think its a habit I've always had, it's also usually the first thing I do in the morning when I wake up. I think my skin tends to get too oily if it is not cleansed and repaired often, or at least this is what I have convinced myself of. :)
