I don t like for sure. i have a special room for visitors..of course from my family, or very good friends who come and stay for few days.
I don t like too go in visit and sleep in other bed, even in my mother home, i can t sleep...i have a very big problem with this...i really love my bed; my pillow, my room....when i travel is so bad...i can sleep in the morning after hours, just because i can t find my place..i don t feel good.
So, you like to let others to sleep in your bed?or like if you must in somebody else bed?

hi icesmile^^;;
i am a bit guarded when it comes to sharing my bed to someone especially to visitors. i try to prepare another place/space for them to sleep than my own bed.
when it comes to hotels, i don't have any problem as long as it is clean and smell is good. i also don't like as much as possible to sleep in someone else's house since i would feel a burden.

Our apartment is too small to accomodate gueses, but if we had a place big enough for that, our guests would sleep on a comfortable sofa, or in a guest room if we had one. My husband and I both talked about it, and we do not feel obliged to give up our beds for visiting people, nor would be want them to give up their beds for us. It's enough to have a place for them to sleep when they come.

i think a hotel may be a good way for the guest,especially your apartment is too small.Maybe you would pay for it,in hotel the guest can take it easy for some things.

Well, we definately prefer people when they come over to sleep either on the Air Mattress, on our Couch, or on the recliners. There is no way I would feel safe letting someone else sleep on my bed without me unless it was a younger child for sure. Even when I go to someone elses house and have to sleep somewhere I would rather sleep on a Couch or in a guestroom rather than in someone else's bed for sure.

I live in India and here we consider a guest as good. We give more importance to them compared to the other people at house. We enjoy cooking many dishes for them and let them sleep in our bed. I don’t mind giving my bed to my guest and sleep on the floor in another room for a day or two. I think this way because this is the way I am brought up. I know that many people don’t like others to sleep in their bed.

Hi icesmile, we have a guest room, so such situations rarely arise. But when they do, I havent really had a chance to say yes, or no, because it is the guest who decides that she will sleep with me. I just have to adjust. :( I have been adjusting far too long I think, that is the reason I never thought about it until now. Now that u mention it, I think I the bed to myself. Not too happy or comfortable sharing it.

Not pretty much i must say, but sometimes i have to give it no matter what (when are family members). I don't know if it just me but, always that someone has to sleep in my house, i'm the one who has to give his bed. Hate that. When are friends the ones that come to sleep in my house, the birng their sleeping bags nad i give them a sort of mattress and pillows so they can sleep well on the floor

If I didn't have a spare bed I don't feel like I would allow someone to sleep in my bed. They would be sleeping on the sofa because you never know someone's hygiene. He or she could be tracking in dirt or lice and then to go in right after them (after changing the sheets) omygash after typing this I don't feel I couldn't.
