I am not actually interested in auctions of celebrity items. i just don't know why some people get interested on buying their old clothes and some ridiculous items or stuff like their cut hair. i can't believe sometimes how ridiculous these auctions can be. even for good items like shoes and shirt, for their price i can buy a lot of things , more important things. so i don't see any point on buying no matter how a great i am of that celebrity. maybe there may be a celebrity in the future that can capture my fancy and make me buy some of his auctioned item no matter how pricey it can be. but as of now i still don't feel that want to buy from any celebrities.

I would buy it only if it's so attractive & useful. I would give preference to my likes rather than thinking it's a celebrity item. Happy Lotting

hi hotsummer! Cut hair? lol...they auctioned that item?mmm..weird. But people that are really rich doesn't care about the price or value of these items. I also don't like to buy or even to have a glance of star's item that are for sale. But the best thing about it is, most of the proceeds of these auctioned items goes to charity.

Those are for people who are filthy rich and have the luxury to buy such things. People who barely make ends meet or earn a little more, buying items from celebrities is out of the question. Personally, even if I have the money, I don't think I will ever buy them. It may not be a waste for some, for me it is and there are much better things that I can spend my money on. cheers!

yeah those filthy rich are the ones that can afford it but there are few items from not so popular celebrities or those popular only in their country and not internationally. who come up with auction so that the proceeds will go to charities. those items are not that expensive as those auctions from international celebrities.

It really depends on what the item is and how much it costs. Another thing too is if the celebrity is wanting to be left alone to live their lives in peace from the photographers and the like. Like, I loved Princess Diana but she wanted peace away from the photographers so I wouldn't buy things that was about her because to buy it was only fueling the press to take more and I didn't want that. Now that she's gone, I do buy some things on or about her but not much.

By buying stuff that have alive celebrities is causing the photographers to act more and more recklessly to get that "One Good Shot" and causing so much problems for the person who's being photographed. I don't want to make these low lifes richer, I'd rather leave the celebrities to their lives.

yeah it is hard to know of how much goes to charity. i do feel that most auctions will say that a lot of goes to charity.

I think some people are just riped off with this. On Sites like ebay and stuff you can find britney spears used tissues, and the auction starts at $200. I think its stupid. Half the time they are probly being tricked, and it probably not britney spears. Although, if it was a cool piece of clothing from a celebrity i might buy it, but not if its got a ridiculas price, i mean whats the point. If you were it down the street no-one will know it was a celebrity. I may as well go and by one from a clothing shop.

i don't think those celebrity items in auctions in ebay are for real. i think they have real place for auctions and not just on online site for real celebrity items.

I don't really care about owning things that belonged to famous people. And I wouldn't waste the amount of money on those things that people end up spending in these kind of auctions. If I did have the money to buy something owned by a celebrity, it would be something odd. Like something off the set of the older show The Golden Girls.

Hi dear! Like you, I am also least interested in buying celebrity items, which are auctioned. I do not have plenty of spare money and whatever money I have, I would like to buy things of my need. Buying celebrity items is not going to help me any way. I just do not want to show off to others that I have celebrity items.

I would not buy because I can not afford the price that their items go for at an auction. People with money do get care away with their bidding but sometimes though the money is for a charity so maybe if I had the money I might bid on something but it definitely would not be someone hair.

I think there are some get interested on buying celebrity clothes and other stuff because they are assured that it is branded and it will sale in a cheaper price compare to the original price. Even me If I saw some signature stuff sell it to a cheaper price, I will buy it. For celebrity, some of those stuff are not yet overused.

I want to. I haven't tried though. Clothes, bags or shoes would be great. Hairs and some useless items of celebrities are just freaky. Celebrities usually buy their clothes from expensive stores, well I wouldn't mind having a hand-me down especially if it's from my fave celebrity. Just make sure that they are still good or working.

My am not interested in to bur the items which celebrities use in auction. Its ridiculous. The prices also will be very high, so for that amount we can buy it outside itself we get many things.
