Have people been getting sick lately?

People are getting sick but its because they are not taking the precautions. Plus, some people would have you believe that its a pandemic and we are all going to die if we don't get a pig virus shot. I would rather take my chances with the flu then taking a shot that has the flu virus in it. Also, if you take the flu shot you have to do it every year, no thanks.

Hello my friend VANILLAREY Ji, If Doctors are idling, health graph will go posiive. Even during US Visit in 2003, I had to be appointed and wait for my turn at the clinic. When doctors will gossip and relax then only we can say that we are all health and when doors of courts are shut, we can say we are at peace. May God bless You and have a great time.

There has been alot of sickness in my family lately. My husband had bronchitis. We had to take him to the emergency room also because we thought he may have had swine flu. He had all of symptoms of it.

Every year is the same we have always get coughs and colds this time of year,do keep fit and eat well,so many virus around with the change of seasons.

It's that time of year here when people are getting sick. There have been more than usual getting ill with the swine flu being part of the picture now. There have been a few school closings over illness too.

hi, swine flu was very serious in the last few months. and many school closed. and we often be taught about some ways to keep ourselves clean and healthy. but i never heard that it is becoming serious these days. everything goes well in our country and nobody worry too much about the flu. anyway, hope everyone helthy:)

I don't think people around here have been getting sick any more than they normally would. Of course I know a few people who have had swine flu (they recovered quickly), and I know some people who have had the plain 'ol been around forever kind of flu. It's the time of year the flu and all the colds hit around in the area of I live.

There has been.....and in our city alot of the H1N1...I have a cold but not the flu. This weekend I spent alot of time sleeping....anyway...yes there has been alot of people getting sick....but it seems like with the change of seasons that happens.....more deaths too!

Hey vanillarey! I have not seen any serious amount or change in the amount of people getting sick yet, but I do know that it will be coming soon and I am very scared! It is just starting to get cold here in NY where I live and the weather has not been good here. It has been cold and rainy and it is the type of weather that starts to bring the flu season! So far I don't now anyone who has fallen ill yet and I am hoping that it will stay that way! But, the winter is on it's way and in the next few months we will be into the major part of flu season here and I am truly praying that everyone that I know stays healthy! I know that I have to be extra careful because I have respiratory problems and need to be extremely careful because I am prone to bronchitis and that weakens my immune system!

We live in Australia and we are actually heading towards summer at the moment. I do notice there a lot of viruses and colds going around at the beginning of every winter and, aside from the swine flu epidemic I think it is probably normal due to the season. I don’t seem to get as many colds and flues as I used to when I was younger which puzzles me; the only thing that I can think of the vitamin C I take every day must be doing its job or I have been very lucky the last few years!

Maybe it's all about the climate change why most people get sick. The rain is very huge unlike before and there are most people get cough and cold.

Yes, you're right. Its because of the season. In my place, in Indonesia right now I guess the most common desease will be flu. But not swine flu. just the ordinary one. But if you took enough rest and consume a good foods and vitamin, then there will be no chance for you to get sick.
