Ok.......... well....... the Blond moments are back
As you all know, Gissi has been sick, he is much better by the way
Thanks to a Friend advising me what to do he has recovered well (I can tell, I found my Pillows on the Floor last Night, when I went to bed), anyway one of the things of course was, make sure Gissi gets lots of Fluid
Well at first he had been drinking but then I did not see him drink for a long time, so my Friend suggested a syringe and gently squirt water into his Mouth
We where also talking about how Gissi always has to be mussled at the Vets as he does not like anyone treating him and he would bite, she then told me the best way to mussel him if I should ever have to
Well a couple of hours after the call he had still not touched his water, so I decided to get some fluid down him before we went to bed
Ok that was just great, but...................................
I don't know if I was just to tired or not thinking or being a dizzy Blond (last one more likely)
With a big fight and a mad Dog I mussled Gissi , I went to get the Syringe with Water, came back, to a mad Gissi, and looked at him, then the Syringe with Water, well it took me a while to figure out that, no way could I mussel him when I want to get into his Mouth , I think Gissi figured that before me, as he just sat glaring at me, so I took it all of went to squirt the Water into his mouth (again with a fight) because he was fighting, I actually tried to squirt it in his Mouth while he was barking at me, I misjudged and well the water ended up squirting into his face, one shocked unhappy Gissi , but hey I did get there in the end
I was just so glad that there was only Gissi and me, as I felt so stupid lol
But I did have a very annoyed Gissi on my Hands and when I came back from the Kitchen, well my Cushions where on the Floor and Gissi stood on the Settee growling at me, say I can't blame him really
would you have been mad at me to hehehehe

A blonde moment Gaby? Certainly not as bad as previous ones. At least you haven't poured mixture over him for a while.
A friend told me about our mutual friend this week - a blonde. She couldn't remember whether or not she'd had her shower, so she went into the bathroom to see if her towel was wet. It was, so she knew she'd had her shower. Gaby, you are not that bad yet.
One squirt wasn't enough, so keep up the good work - but get it in the right place. Then beat Gissi to it and put the cushions on the floor yourself. Then sit on the settee and growl at him.

Well, sounds like Gissi was just trying to get even with you. Who could blame him if you were making him do things he does not like to do? But I am still hoping he is on his way to recovery so things there can get back to normal. My thoughts and Prayers are still with you my friend.

I can just see the picture - you with syringe in hand, filled with water and Gissi glaring at you with the muzzle on his mouth! I think it just might have been a blond moment! Never mind Gabs, I often have moments like that from time to time - and I'm not blond!
Gissi wouldn't have been impressed when you squirted the water on his face, but at least you got there in the end - mission accomplished. Glad to hear he is feeling a lot better.

Awww poor Gissi! The reason I say that is the little furry friends don't understand what we're doing and/or why. If only we could explain then maybe we'd get some cooperation from them. Bless his sweet little heart!! Hey Gissi dear one! Mommy is only trying to help you get well! Now be a good little boy and let mommy help you! Hugs to the both of you!!

oh dear, yes i can understand gissi not being a happy bunny. first of all he feels very ill and every one is fussing over him, then his mummy wrestles him and trys to squirt a plastic tube in to his face. what he doesnt realise is , that his mum loves him very much and is trying to make him better.
my dexter had a very painful ulcer in his eye ( his breed are very susceptible to eye problems as they have big bulgy eyes !) he got really cross with me when i had to put his eye drops in, but when his dad went to do it , he was fine. this is the dad who doesnt take him out (well not often) doesnt feed him or clear up after him if he is sick or has an accident. but dexter thinks the sun shines out of every orifice with his dad.
But alternatively, one of my cats, my little tiny Felix, who is quite old but is very small, had to go to the vets with a ripped claw. this little cat is very shy and hates to be picked up. but after myself and the vet, battled with her to get this claw removed and stitched up, she thinks i am the best thing since sliced bread. she meows very loudly when i go in the kitchen first thing and winds her self round me. so she loves me more, since our struggles with the claw, which i am glad to say healed beautifully and she has a lovely new claw grown back.
same with dexter his eye healed up although he has a small white scar on the front of his eye.
i think all your mylotter friends are interested in hearing all gissis updates, and it shows that he is feeling better if he can throw all the cushions on the floor and show you by growling that he feels much better thank you!!!

oh gabs I am so glad my pal Gissi is better, that must have been some scene with you trying to muzzle poor little Gissi and him resenting his mum doing that to him. wow. of course if you were to squirt water into his mouth then the muzzling had to go. wow. no wonder he got mad, I suppose he was thinking whats with mum, she knows she is bigger than me, okay I'll just toss her pillows on the floor he he he, that will fix her. Gissi must have made
quite a sight sitting there growling at his mom.Reminds me of the time I tried to give a pill to my cat when we could have one. I would stuff it in his mouth, he would hiss at me then spit tooey out came the pill. so my son, being a bit smarter put the pill in some tuna cat food, and presto pill and catfood went down without a hitch. My hands were all scratched and my cat looked at me like I was some sort of devil. he he he. so glad Gissi is better. hugs to both of you hatley here.

Hey gabs! I'm sorry that you had to go through all that and put
poor little Gissi through it too! I do think it is a bit funny
that you muzzled him and then realized that you wouldn't be able
to give him the water that way! Poor Gissi! I am really happy
to hear that he is feeling better now! We don't want to have
the little guy feeling sick now! Star and Luna were very upset
about their little friend! They miss talking to him and want him
to know that they hope he gets better really quick so that they
all can talk soon! They are sending him kitty hugs and kitty
kisses! And so am I and to you too Gabs!
