man utd can be a premiere league in this year

too early to say anything. it seems like all the 'big' teams are dropping point right, left and centre so united occupying top spot means nothing unless they can win a few matches in a row. yes we HAVE started better this season than the last or the one before but we play great football one day and then like a league 1 side the week after! or in the case of bolton, fabulous in the first half but horrible in the second! and we made the comeback in jan last season because Ronaldo peaked and the defence was unbelievable. no ronaldo anymore and the defence doesnt look that confident this time round. certainly not when foster's keeping! on the bright side the other contenders and doing just as good (or bad) as us so we might still be able to win it. But if any of the big four or one of the emerging sides hit something of a form it'll be that club to end United's reign.

I think it is great and they are on their way to another League title.They traditionally play better in the second phase of the EPL after Christmas but this year they are playing well in the opening stages and if they improve in the second phase they would be a very hard team to catch up with.With Arsenal,the only other major team that has been consistent lately, it would be difficult for the other giants of the Premier League to catch Manchester United unless they falter themselves.
