Creating a Website

Could you guys direct me to a site which would help me in all aspects of creating a Website cheaply so that I could attract visitors to it and earn through referrals from it? I would also like to learn the steps required and the things I would have to know to be an online entrepreneur.

First are you planning to build a free blog, like those at Blogger.com or Wordpress.org blog? Or, are you planning on buying a domain and getting it hosted? Once you have made a decision then you will be able to find help easier.
