quitting smoking

I would like to quit smoking and am having a hard time doing it. I absolutely love it!!! It is unhealthy and very expensive! I just don't seem to have the willpower to realllly want to stop. Have tried the gum and can't use patches. Has anyone quit and how did you do it?
