I change my tooth brush once in less than a month’s time. But, I have seen people who use their tooth brush for almost a year. One example is my former room mate. She is a miser. She also uses very little paste to brush. I believe it is important to change tooth brush often. I don’t think a one year old tooth brush works. What do you say?

i change it once at 6 months, sometimes i find a very good one so i don't buy only one but maybe two or three of them. It's importat to use often the teeth brusher, and change it periodically or when it becomes too soft and can't act on your teeth like it did before.

Six months is a long time for me since I brush in the morning and also at night if I have meat at night. The quality of brush you use may be good enough to use for six months. My brush won't be good after one month. So, I would like to change in every four weeks. The part of the tooth brush which we put inside mouth won't stand straight after one month.

Hi daliaj, I don’t have fixed time to change my tooth brush. Sometimes I might brush my teeth more than twice in a day. The more times I use it daily it would tend to be unserviceable much faster. When the soft bristles of the toothbrush look indecent, I would then replace it with a brand new one without any hesitation
I always keep some new stock of toothbrush at home, so that I could replace the unserviceable one at any time. I would like to get some when the required stocks are on sale. I like toothbrush with soft bristles. I have sensitive gum and I’m afraid that the hard one might hurt the gum when brushing
Happy posting

Hai daliaj!I use to change my tooth brush once in three months.I use a medium brush and so it comes upto three months. And I don't brush my teeth violently as some people do.They try it real hard on their teeth to get shining whiteness. So,they have to change their brush quite often as the bristles wear out soon.A dentist can guide you how to brush you rightly.Cheers!

I usually like to change mine about every two months or so. really, it depends when i remember to do it or when something happens and I lose the one I have. Also, when I go away for the weekend I always buy a new one to take with me, nine times out of ten when I get home I will keep that one and throw away the old one that I had sitting there.

Hi Daliaj,
I used to brush twice a day,so my brush got damaged fast,so i have to change it once in a two or three months.oh...brushing with one year old brush? Its better to wash mouth by water.hehe. Its not good for teeth and may cause some infection. If you see her again, say her to change it.Good discussion friend.
