Stars are the result of the ratings that others have given to your posts. The more plusses you receive the higher your star will be. The higher your star then the more your posts will earn. You can pass your cursor over the star to see the percentage of plusses. - 95.1 = blue star - 85.1 = red - 75.1 = yellow and so on. Your number increases: - when you start a discussion (after it receives 2 responses (or 1 response + 1 comment) - when you respond on a discussion started by others (for the first time) - when you comment on a response on a discussion started by others All other activity will earn for you but will not cause your number to increase. There I see that you have the 100 discussions here in mylot, and congratulations to you.. Secondly, having the star and the number inside it would simply indicate the quality of posts that you made within your first 100 discussions.. It may go up, it may go down.. It depends on how other mylotters would rate your discussions and post. So make sure that every time you respond or create a discussion, make it the best quality.. ALWAYS ... "D

Absolutely right. Members are the one rating your posts, and if they found it irrelevant or without good quality, then they may give you a negative rating..

The star rating is how others are judging your responses. So it is kind of like according to how many positive votes you have. For the number of discussions you have answered a 9 is very good. It will eventually go up to a 10 as long as you keep leaving good comments on discussions, it takes a little longer to get up to 10 but you will get there, but really 9 is not bad at all.

Basically that is your rank in here and it is what other users have given you for your posts, whether it be discussions you have started, or posting responses. you will notice by the responses, there is a + and a -. That is what users will use to rate the posts. You have a high rating, and that is good. I started our really low, and it was a gradual increas to what I have now. 1 ia rhw loqwa. and 10 is the highest. The higher our rank, the more we earn as well. Good luck to you and happy mylotting.

Hi, Dipak! Like others have mentioned, you will earn the star once you have reached the 100th post *congrats!* Meaning to say that you have responded to 100th of discussions, which were created by other members, but if you respond for the second time under the same comment box, it will not count. The responses you receive in your own discussions will also not accumulate as your number of posts. The colors in the star will vary according to the ratings from 1 to 10, like purple for 4, pink for 6 and now yours is red for 9. Basically, it indicates the number of ratings people will rate based on your quality discussions or responses. Yes, it is likely to go down as well as up to the highest at 10. How to improve?? Really, it depends. If the members like your answers or find them helpful, they will rate your posts as positive and vice versa. I have noticed that when I received the 'Best Response', my percentage of ratings went up a bit. Try to bring your cursor to the center of your star, you will see the percentage. Anyway, keep posting and don't forget to rate other members, too.

hi friend, rating is depend upon your responses, if your response wil be selected , surely you will get rating with colors... ya , sometimes for single response, if your ans is good, they will give .o5 to .07 cents.. so try to give responses elaborately not in a single or double line.... my friend usally got .05 cent for every discussion.. i too make to do that
