Do you get really upset when internet becomes slow?

Yes that is very irradiating when things are running slow. I have my connection through the cable company so it is usually fast. but if it started to run slowley and i was waiting to long for pages to load i would probabley give up and try again later.

Hi Daliaj, I do feel upset when internet becomes slow. I am not patient enough to wait for the pages to be opened. I keep on refresh it and it seems make it even slower. Usually I will stop surfing on net if it last longer than two to five minutes. I feel it really waist time, and I would rather to have a try later. Have a great day and happy mylotting.

I have under gone this problems many a times and yes it upsets me so much that Have changed my internet connection and switched off to a new one.

Now I'm suffering with the slow internet connection. I don't know what's wrong with my laptop, but the internet speed is so slow. I feel very upset with it. the only reason is we have a guest staying at our home. he's 16 years old and he plays computer games a lot. my husband and I both think the computer games make our internet speed low. now at one time we have three computers using internet. I want to talk with him, but my husband said no. my husband said if we talked with him, he will feel embarrassed and feel uncomfortable to stay with us. one day when we had dinner my husband tried to ask him what do you think the internet speed, he said it's fine. so now I'm silent and try to avoid the time when he also use the internet. I became a guest at my home.

It upsets me a lot. That happens to me many times. I keep on calling my internet provider and bombarded them with complains. I never stop updating about their service until the problem is fixed. Sometimes people here in my country won't do their job if you're not there always to remind them of it. shadow41

I'm not only upset but also feel angry. Sometimes I even want to throw my computer out of the window.

I think its not only you who feel irritated when internet connection is very slow. Me as well. I often experience that at home when i used to have a dial up connection and sometimes when i had change into broadband connection. It is slow perhaps because of my old computer. Its really anooying especially if you are doing multi-tasking and you can't able to do that because its very slow. As for having patience, well i don't have any choice but to be more patience because i can't afford to buy a new computer. Re-formatting your cousin's computer could help i guess. I supposed we had the same problem, the computer itself and not the internet connection.

Yes I get really upset especially if I am downloading a file that was supposed to take a couple minutes and it is taking hours due to the speed of the net .In addition this usually causes the machine to freeze a lot.Another problem occurs when you are doing an install from the net like yahoo messenger,I had to do many restarts because the net actually stopped arrrghh ,it was very painstaking

I have a very slow Internet connection and so I have got adapted to it. Sometimes it gets really very slow and I just hate it. I close the connection and then do something off-line. I listen to music watch films or just work on a new article of a project. I am a very patient person. You can see that by looking at the number of posts I have made over that past 9 months.

yes! It really annoys me when the internet runs slow. It always slows or stops working when I am the middle of something important. I could be using it all day for rubbish and when I start something mildly important the thing starts to run slow. So fustrating!

yes, i will be upset. in fact, just as i arrived from the office, i was told by my son that there is NO internet connection. i was at once upset as i wanted to be online and open the money-making sites . i called up the telephone company where we subscribe the dsl connection and reported the matter. i didn't expect that the problem will be fixed today as i was told that it will be done in 48 to 72 hours. when it is slow, i grow impatient. i leave the site and play games offline.

Yes, indeed very upset. I am kind of a impatient person so this slow internet connection really upsets me. I used to have a very fast internet connection, but because it's really expensive now, I have to change my ISP to a cheaper one. The difference is significant, but I have no other choice. This one I;m using is one of the fastest for its class, but it's nothing compared to the one I had. But it's still okay, I'm getting used to it. I once had a very slow connection which loaded a single page for 10 minutes! It didn't worth everything

I get upset when internet is slow that too when i have to write some important mails.And at times i get irritated waiting in front of computer,i just close all pages and shut down the system.But i have also noticed that the internet becomes slow and takes more time to open a page when something is being downloaded,so it is better to first search things or information and then go for downloading or one can pause downloading for a while and then resume with downloading after other work is finished.

Its very frustrating. I hate when it happens and I really rile up on the telephone company that supplies all the internet lines and equipment in Trinidad. When the computer is fast you can really enjoy it but when it is slow it frustrates you no end. To get a faster service in Trinidad requires a more expensive provider and more expensive equipment. That's the problem. I'm not a rich bunny so I have to settle for the cheapest service I can find. That is not always the best. I can promise you that.

it is really annoying when my internet is slow but there is not much i can do about it so i wait for pages to load etc. i have verizon dsl and it is not terrible but it is not great either.

Sometimes internet is a bit slower than normal. It's no big problem since I have 30 mbps anyway, so there is some room for sluggish snail-speed. The thing that annoys me is the limited download speed offered by loads of servers. Some servers have a max of 250kbps which is annoying when you're able to download with over 3 mega byte per second or 30 mega bit per second.

Hi daliaj Talking about internet, i become less patient, i need to have a nice internet speed, i am staying in a hostel and using the LAN and the internet is fine, but i don't have internet at my home coz my parents don't use, and so i have to use the dial up connection at home which is pretty slow, wow you said 2.5 mbps and you say 2 minutes to open up a page, well it seems even my dial up connection is better than thathehe... somehow to keep in touch and come here to mylot i don't using a dial up connection, i just need to come here somehow.... so finally if i have a speed internet connection then it is fine but i would bare to use up a dial up connection if there is no internet at all.... have a nice day daliaj!

daliaj, 2 minutes for a page to open is a long time! I get so frustrated with my computer as it is a right old banger and it is OK most of the time but when it gets a bit 'tired' or something it starts being slow and making that creaking sound every time I want to go to another page - I end up shouting at it "oh come on!" before giving up and watching telly instead. Mind you, I am on my computer a lot so I probably overwork the poor thing. x

It makes me really upset if the connection is very slow. I also had a slow internet connection for a week already and it's very irritated because I have worked to finished and I am measuring my time duration of work then connection is very slow.
