Do you use the internet for making calls

Yes used to do that last time on skype, my xbfren used to put money on my skype account just in case he is not online and i need to call him for emergency matter,and the connection is very clear..but charge is in pounds it is much expensive and i think its better if i just buy our own call card its cheaper..but whats nice is that it has along period before it expires..just need to make a call every 6 months..my load was 20 pounds last february 2007 and bcos we broke up more than a yr i still have more than 10 pounds..used it to sms outside my country..wished i could refund it lol!

Hi i never tried it yet but i really would want to..International call rates here in the philippines are really expensive.. Calling via internet especially if its going to be free would really be good. Does anyone know any site that has free call internationally?.. Thank you so much...have a good day...

Hi, Anurag. Yes, I have, when making long distance calls, as they are free. The connection is surprisingly good on my machine.

I generally use skype for making calls .Some times i use gtalk to call to my friend

Hi lanurag, We are residing abroad and the cheapest way to talk to our friends and relatives back home is through the internet. I used to talk to my mother via yahoo messenger on voice call as she doesn't want to send messages using the keyboard. We are lucky that there are no dditional charges on computer to computer calls, I'm only paying the regular monthly bill for the internet. Good Day!

yes i do use internet a lot these days to make calls .. but mostly the international calls... i find it very economical due to the cheap rates and these days the sound quality is also pretty good.. so almost nothing to worry and again we have messengers which can be used to make computer to computer calls which are absolutly free..

actually no,although it is a good idea to make calls though internet because of the low price even no cost,the calls are usually not going through with poor sound. so i still would like to make calls using telephone or my cellphone,and if they are can not work once in a while,i would communicate with my friends or others via email.

yah i do used comp. to make calls used the YM no cost....when i talked to my honey....

I tried it a couple of times, but did not care for it. I like internet messaging, or live cam with speakers. We have family out of state, so this works well for us.

when i call on the internet it is very fuzzy and it echoes making it hard for the other person to hear what your saying. I stick with mobiles
