I joined wishuponahero.com in July of this year but have never granted or made a wish before until today. I have offered to grant a few wishes today, mostly just people wanting cards for their children or family, but I also have made a wish today. I wished that my son would get cards and gifts for his birthday which is next month. I have already had 2 people who wanted to send him a card. I really am happy to see that people really do care and are willing to do something like this. Yes, maybe it is just a small gesture but it is really refreshing to see that there are people out there who do still care about other people. Have you every granted or made a wish on wishuponahero.com?

I've never heard of this site. I'll have to go and check it out. And I do agree that there good people left in this world, even though the news and tv seem to show us otherwise.

I've never heard of this site too. A site that lets people make and grant wishes is a totally new concept to me. This sure piqued my curiosity. I think I'll go check out this site. I might even sign up. It's good to know that people who join this site want to help others.

Exactly! I know how you feel. At the moment I couldn't help anyone financially but I'm like you, "what is a stamp"! This weekend I will be stocking up on greeting cards and stamps so I can help brighten someone's day just as they are willing to brighten mine and my son's day!

Thank you so much for joining and offering to send Justice something for his birthday. I have had 27 offers to date and he actually received his first birthday card from someone today, I'm not going to let him open anything until his birthday though, I just think it will make it more special for him to wait. Thanks again, I really appreciate it!

I just posted my wish about an hour ago and I already have 6 people who want to send my son a birthday card, stickers, and one person even wants to send him $1. I really think it is sweet of people to do this for others.

I didn't even know about this site until I read your post. I will have to look it up and see what it's all about. That would be neat to grant wishes for people and to have some of my wishes granted.

I have never heard of this site before now. Sounds like a great idea to be involved in. We are a rather poor struggling family but i often want to do something nice for another family this sounds like something i could afford to do and would be nice. I too may have a request at some time since our son is serving in the military and he enjoys cards or something simple like that to cheer him up when times of deployment. Thanks for sharing.

Isn't that a great site? Some wishes are truly heartbreaking aren't they? I've made wishes but nothing came of it much. I've granted wishes, such as giving away shoes I had that I never even work, books, and VHS tapes...in fact I have another package to send to someone this week. Oh--LOL...out of curiosity I tried to find you and did since your user name is almost the same...my name over there is the same as here too.

Im new to this site, so I'll have to check it out. It must have been started by someone who is a good soul, who goes out of his way to grant wishes through his site. Kudoss to this guy or girl. Yes, there are good people in this world and it re-enforces my belief in humanity still existing in this world. All the best to you.

Yes, I found wishuponahero in August when my daughter was able to find a job after filling out over 200 applcations. She needed scrubs to wear for her job with hospice and we had no money to pay for them. I placed a wish and I was so happy and surprised that these people would help when our own relatives would not help. She got some really nice scrub sets and that is what she wears now to work. We also need food to get us buy till she got her first pay check and those heroes sent gift cards to grocery stores and cash money. I then placed a wish for my grand daughter some winter clothes and again we received boxes of winter clothing. And, the last wish was for my grand daughter's 4th birthday and she got so many birthday cards and was so happy with all of the stickers that was in the cards. I have sent birthday cards and sent some boxes of clothing for children. I am really grateful for this website. Happy MyLotting.

Yes, I can't believe how many people have already contacted me to send my son cards, stickers, etc. This is really amazing! I know my son is going to love all the cards, etc. I am so happy to hear that people have helped you with so many needs that you and your family has had. I know I have seen people asking for things that I have laying around my house, I'm thinking of sending that stuff to them. If someone else can use what I can't then I would be more than willing to help them out. It is a wonderful site!

I have not heard of this site before. I took a look at it and I like the concept; it is a very good way to help another person which ion my opinion is the best thing to do when you’re feeling a bit down. I have not joined as yet but I may just so that. I will go there now and see what I can for somebody.

This sounds a nice site but how will you recieve the birthdays cards if you don't give them your address, you should not give out your details to strangers, also won't your child think it funny he is getting cards from people he does not know.sorry but it sounds very suspect to me.
