Do you have a favourite Band(s). If so why do you like them so much? What is your favourite song(s) by them?
One of my favourite bands would be Joy Division. I just love their music and their sound. The music reminds of a lot of things. My favourite songs by them would be Transmission & Autosuggestion.
So what is your favourite band/bands? I would love to see different peoples tastes in music.

Yes, i do have favorite bands i enjoy. Actually, i have tons of favorite bands. My top music that I love is Three Days Grace, who sings mostly rock and punk rock. My most favorite songs from them is Break. It is their latest release for the album Life Starts Now. I like it so much because previous moments come to mind with their music. My other favorites are Papa Roach, and Good Charlotte. These are all rock bands, but I love all types of music. I like R&B, Techno, Classical, SOME country music, and all others, except jazz. I am sorry for all the jazz lovers but i just hate juzz music.

You like a lot of different genres I do too. I could never stick to one style of music I would get bored easily.
I have never listened to Three Days Grace I'll give them a listen. Thanks :)

i have too many favorite bands, but there are some that i will listen to all week or for weeks on end. at the moment it is all about pantera. they are no longer together they split up many years ago. then any hope for a reunion was killed when a crazed fan shot dimebag when he was on stage and killed him. my favorite tracks by them are cemetary gates, 5 minutes alone, becoming, walk and i'm broken. they were a truly great band. i have been listening to them for about 2 weeks solid now. i love them because dimebag revolutionized the way that heavy metal bands play the guitar, killer!

My favorite band is Bon Jovi! I have been a dedicated, die-hard Bon Jovi fan for the last 25 years! No other rock band's music has touched me like theirs. i could listen to Bon Jovi for hours on end and never be bored. Some songs i can sit back and listen to. others i have to crank up and sing along. My favorite songs are Living On a Prayer. It's My Life and We Weren't Born To Follow!

if you are interested, Bon Jovi will be on Showtime this Saturday. They have a documentary that night. it's called When We Were Beautiful. Why not give it a try if you can get the Showtime channel? I know I'll be there! Have a great day!

I have a favorite singer. His name is Jonny Craig. He's Currently the lead singer in a band called Emarosa. He just released a solo album that is really good. His voice is unique and just flat out amazing. The lyrics in the songs he writes are very deep and thoughtful. He was in a band called Dance Gavin Dance for an album called Downtown Battle Mountain. For people who enjoy the hardcore rock genre I would recommend Dance Gavin Dance. For a little less heavy form of rock I'd recommend Emarosa: Relativity. And for more acoustic style you should check out his solo album ; A Dream is a Question You Don't Know How to Answer. You should definitely give some of his work a listen. I hope someone will listen to him because his voice is different from a lot of artists these days and I'd like to spread the word of his existence.

I am such a bigtime music fan that this is a difficult one! But I think I can narrow it down to at least a few for now. So, in no particular order...
*Godsmack - I just saw them live at Crue Fest 2 in August. They rocked!
*Harry Connick Jr. - His jazzy, smooth style is just so great!
*The Who - One of the only bands I've ever heard where it's as though each member is playing their own lead, but it all blends together and just sounds incredible!
There are many more, and I bet if I came back here in a couple weeks, I'd have a different answer! haha

I don’t have a particular band in mind, however I do have a favorite music genre which is Indie music. Some indie bands and artist I like to listen are from: Modest Mouse, Yacht, Alabama Shakes, Foster the People, and the band of Lykke Li.
I love indie music because it leaps from the usual popular mainstream music, it also has a distinct vibe to it that I kind of love because it is quite different from your usual music in this generation.
