How to sketch images from our minds?

It's diffcult to draw with mouse.

I have two methods that I use for drawing concepts from my head. One is I draw at very low resolutions, one pixel at a time, ofcourse with massive amounts of zoom. When i try drawing a face, it ends up nice and proportioned because I can actually count the blocks of pixels. Then I enlarge the blocks picture twice its size and make them smoother by the edges. Then I keep repeating this process and making corrections along the way and finally end up with a decent image without even knowing how to draw properly. Another is to draw your image blobs at a time, erasing its edges as if molding them. For example, to draw a tan person with white clothes and blue pants, you put blobs of brown, white, and blue on your image, then cut out unnecessary parts till you get the shape of a person. Keep doing this until you get as much detail as you want. Hope that helps.

It's there, or it isn't. I don't think someone can learn it. I paint from my mind, and I also am a silhouette artist. I cut out with a scissor freehand what I am thinking.

It is very hard to sketch well with a mouse, unless you have the special "pen" attachment for the computer, but it can be done. I've done in in "Paint" accessorie many times with varying results.

I can't use a computer mouse but I have one of those electronic pads that you plug into your computer and you use a digital pen to draw on the pad and then it shows up on the computer screen. Its basically an electronic drawing pad. I'm not sure exactly what they are called at the moment but they are really nice!

I have just answered this question in another post, but as for a computer... I have no clue. Computer mouses aren't as accurate as sketching with a pencil and paper. There are some devices that connect to your CPU and has a mat, mainly to draw on, and a digital pencil which you can draw with. It may be expensive, but it is the only way i know how to accurately draw on the computer. Good luck crystal light. I just love saying good luck! GOOD LUCK!
