You cannot kill a corruption in a one blow. You can only reduce it's number, slowly but surely. First of all, it is to make sure the rule is not for show, but must be able to be apply in real world application. Government in this point must learn from private company. Most private company, the big one, usually have more strict rules. If the government take example from them, it will make less corruption happened in a middle low lever employee. Although the big one it's still hard to control. But, it is a start.

Waaw, I know corruption is rooted in the society and has became part of culture. It is a sad thing but I believe that we can do action to prevent this. Education is the key to make change. Government is the main actors who should do it but take a look our government now they try to deemphasize the role of KPK. ?????

Yes, most of all KPK leader, one by one, is now charged by the law. It is sad to me since i think all of this is simply a scenario to make KPK become more weak and so the corruption once again will prevail in this country. I just hope SBY keep his word to make this country a better place where corruption can be keep to minimum. Well we just wait and see for now.

No, Corruption will never be stop. Even like you said, China, a country that will kill any one who dare to corrupt government money, in that country corruption still do exist, but off course, it is very few in number. The first way to stop corruption is to us, indonesian people, thinking that corruption is something natural ( especially if the number is small ).
How to make this happened, it is to make sure, that rules is apply, and every single thing of corruption, even a corruption of Rp 100,00 is expose and a person who do that should be get punishment. Then people will stop thinking that corruption is our culture and will mend their way.

I dont think corruption can be cure unless human nature is changed. Because well... human are greedy. Its in our genes. I mean survival of the fittest right? that survival sometimes means to hoard things to ourselves.
However, education might help mitigate the situation. When we learn..we began to understand not only others better but ourselves as well. So with knowledge, we can evaulate ourselves in other perspective which often lessens corruption and other sinful humanly acts.
But we can blame those who dont unstand. what we can do is educate and
Enlighten.

Yes, the rules are made simply not work to those at higher power. It is a very sad thing to me. How come we came to this point when people doesn't even feel embarrassed when they receive a bribe from other. Even if a honest person enter a governmental institution, the situation will force him to be a corrupt person or else he will feel like living in hell since most of his working mate will become his enemy.

corruption has become a culture in Indonesia and people think corruption is a way to get sustenance. So, to clean up Indonesia from corruption problems, in my opinion, is to never give money to civil servants

Corruption must be addressed head on in all levels especially when it has already became a culture in the society. Education from the early stage is equally important but it takes a generation for a new concept to sink into the collective consciousness of the masses. Nevertheless, it must be done. There must be a strong political will on the part of those in the government to weed out corrupt officials for they pull the country down with them. There must be a strong participation of the citizenry especially in a democratic society. It just takes a good leader who is not corrupt to take a lead.
enjoy life!

you can't fight with the world alone.. i had tried that but successful upto some extent but as a whole failure.. it's better to teach the children what is correct and what is wrong and when to attack at things that are wrong using the correct points.. that gives a great help..
