for some purposes we do something,why?

once i heard someone said that people do something for reasons ,and i think the words carefully,but i can not get the point, and i always think about it?
for examples ,for living we eat,and work for money,and we learn for knowledge,and so on,
what do you guys think all of us have purpoes ,no matter those are decided or not,maybe they are your little secret.haha

yes everything we does have purpose but that purpose may not be always realized because it is done as a daily routine. But if you try to focus on what you are doing then you'll finally realize the purpose of what you are doing.
