What kind of words and adjective would you use for your parents? I'll start. I think they're decent, caring, loving, not-so-over-controlling, open-minded, overprotecting. Mom is my best friend, Dad is my protector. How's yours?

Hi Nooveggies. I've always had great respect and admiration for my parents. Some of the adjectives that describe them: Loving, hard-working, honest, mature and responsible, dignified. They raised 8 of us together, including two sets of twins. I cannot begin to describe my love and admiration for the kind of people they are and the example they set. Karen

Your parent maintain to raise all 8 of you in that environment? They must be really nice people. i think as we become parents later on, we'll get more and more adjectives to express our admiration.

I feel very lucky now that I have great parents. I hope those adjectives could be said about me too when I have kids in the future. :)

You are so right, dear. The longer I've been a parent myself, the more I have come to find good adjectives to describe how outstanding I feel my own parents were at raising all of us! Karen

both of them has different quality, I see. I bet it's nice to see your parents as a couple complementing each other. So is it the case when you are grounded by them for some reasons and then after a moment you turn to them again for comfort?

I like that phrase "the love of my life". I also think that way of my mom. It's truly amazing to have a feeling like that, knowing that mom's always there. :)

Hi Nooveggies, I should describe that my parents are a caring person and I know they love me so much. They also pampered me alot,I am the youngest in my family. I always get the things that I want when I was a kid. Tillnow, I have very close relationship with my parents although I have been out from my hometown since I graduated from my senior high school. So all the time I was out from my town. Now , I am married with a kid and I live in another country too. We still keep in touch and I will pay them a visit once a year in December. Sometimes, my parents will visit me too when they have some free time. They also want to spend more time with my son(their grandson). So I can say that we are a happy family Forever !!

It's nice to find a real story about a big happy family in this world now. I'm happy for you, shia88. I'm still a teenager now but my hope is I'll be that close with my parents when I grow up just like you. I'm the eldest but my parents treat me the same with the others too.
